المستخلص: تعد دراسة المتخيل في الفكر الديني المسيحي من الدراسات المهمة التي تساعد على سبر أغوار هذا الفكر وفهم آليات اشتغاله، وطبيعة علاقته بالفكر الديني العام الذي يبدو فيه المتخيل عنصرا شبه قار. كما يعتبر هذا النوع من الدراسات محاولة في تفكيك البنية الثقافية لمجموعة بشرية تنتمي إلى السجل الثقافي الديني نفسه. ويتنزل ذلك في سياق ما تتيحه الدراسات والمناهج الحديثة -الأنثربولوجيا، علم النفس، وعلم الاجتماع وعلم الأديان-من إمكانات معرفية وفكرية تخرج المقاربة من دوائر القراءة الإيمانية إلى دائرة المقاربة الفكرية العلمية، بغية كشف كنه الممارسات الدينية، وكشف خبايا التفكير والإحاطة بمظاهر الخطاب الديني في الثقافة المسيحية. وقد اخترنا التوقف عند صورة الحيوان في المتخيل المسيحي سعيا إلى النظر في اللامعقول الديني ودراسة التحولات التي شهدها في رحاب فكر يمزج بين الواقعي والأسطوري.

The study of the imaginary in Christian religious thought is one of the important studies that helps to explore the depths of this thought and understand the mechanisms of its operation, and the nature of its relationship to general religious thought in which the imagined is a semi-permanent element. This type of studies is also considered an attempt to deconstruct the cultural structure of a human group belonging to the same cultural-religious record. This is revealed in the context of the cognitive and intellectual potentials offered by modern studies and curricula - anthropology, psychology, sociology, and religion science - that extends the approach from the circles of faith reading to the circle of the scientific intellectual approach, in order to uncover the essence of religious practices, uncover the mysteries of thinking and surrounding the manifestations of religious discourse in Christian culture. We chose to stop at the image of the animal in the Christian imaginary, seeking to examine the religious absurdity and the studies of the transformations that it witnessed in the context of a thought mixing between the real and the myth.
