المستخلص: The process of sustainable development is multidisciplinary. It deals with the economic, environmental and social issues at the same time. Algeria is currently promoting this process to bring the public authorities closer to the needs of the local population and to the protection of the environment. The concrete example of the province of Tizi-Ouzou is illustrative. Several projects are implemented through the involvement of local actors and citizens in the direction of the preservation of the environment. However, the process of sustainable development of the province is incomplete. Hence the need for a relevant public policy for the province in order to carry out all sustainable development actions and ensure a clean environment for the population.

Le processus de développement durable est multidisciplinaire. Il traite à la fois de l’économique, de l’environnement et du social. L’Algérie encourage actuellement ce processus pour rapprocher les pouvoirs publics des besoins de la population locale et de la protection de l’environnement. L’exemple concret de la wilaya de Tizi-Ouzou est illustratif. Plusieurs projets sont mis en oeuvre par l’implication des acteurs locaux et des citoyens dans le sens de la préservation de l’environnement. Cependant, le processus mené de développement durable de la wilaya est inachevé. D’où la nécessité d’une politique publique pertinente pour la wilaya afin de mener à bien toute les actions de développement durable et d’assurer un environnement propre pour la population.
