المستخلص: Public spaces in cities are important for the well-being and quality of life of their inhabitants; they are perceived as social goods for the people who share and use them. This article argues that public spaces are collective goods and social constructions in constant reconfiguration. It analytically shows the forms of appropriation over time and the governance arrangements within the theoretical framework of the notion of community of governance within the theoretical framework of the theory of the commons with a qualitative approach applied to an appropriate urban space in the city of Constantine. The analyzed site contributes to the understanding of the complexity of public spaces, goods and social relations shared between the actors involved.

Les espaces publics dans les villes sont importants pour le bien-être et la qualité de vie des habitants; ils sont perçus comme des biens sociaux pour les personnes qui les partagent et les utilisent. Cet article soutient que les espaces publics sont des biens collectifs et des constructions sociales en constante reconfiguration. Il montre de manière analytique les formes d'appropriation au fil du temps et les accords de gouvernance dans le cadre théorique de la notion de communauté de gouvernance dans le cadre théorique de la théorie des biens communs avec une approche qualitative appliquée à un espace urbain approprié dans la ville de Constantine. Le site analysé contribue à la compréhension de la complexité des espaces publics, des biens et des relations sociales partagées entre les acteurs impliqués.
