المستخلص: The East-West dialogue is an issue which deserves great attention. This concern has been Reflected throughout the many writings that express different view points about this subject. What is appealing in the Present attempt, however, is that the globalization impact on this dialogue is considerably taken into account, for the latter requires several conditions which must be fulfilled so that to be effective and to achieve its objectives. Dialogue among civilizations presupposes, at least, the recognition of cultural diversity, which is in consistent with the idea of globalization and its goals. This means that the dialogue of civilizations is localized in the field of cultural diversity/ globalization dialectic– a problematic which is worth serious pondering.
