المستخلص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على عالم لغوي أندلسي فذ ابن عديس القضاعي، صاحب مجموعة من مصنفات لغوية فقدت من المكتبة العربية، وهي: "الباهر في المثلث مضافا إليه المثنيات" و"شرح الفصيح" و"الصواب في شرح أدب الكاتب"، وتتبع آراءه اللغوية في المصادر التي اتكأ عليها أئمة اللغة والحديث الشريف، وتحاول أن تقارن جهده بجهد غيره بما تحصل إليها من آراء. وخطت الدراسة لنفسها منهجا تسير عليه، فشرعت في الحديث عن ابن عديس من حيث حياته ومكانته العلمية، ثم طفقت تجمع آراءه من المصادر اللغوية وغيرها، مقسمة إياها وفق مباحث لغوية محددة، ثم عكفت على دراسة هذه الآراء لتبيان المكانة العلمية لها، ومقارنة جهد ابن عديس بجهد غيره، وتفسير الآراء قدر ما أمكن. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أن ابن عديس عالم لغوي فذ، له مكانته العلمية التي تستحق تسليط الضوء عليها، كما أن مؤلفاته المفقودة لها أثر جلي في مؤلفات اللاحقين عليه، فضلا على أن جهده لا يتمثل بالجمع، إنما ظهر تفرده ببعض الآراء ومخالفته لآراء بعض اللغويين كقطرب وثعلب وابن قتيبة، فضلا على أننا نجد الكثير من القضايا التي تناولها ولم نجدها عند شراح الفصيح وأدب الكاتب، كما أنه أضاف بعضا من المثنيات والمثلثات اللغوية التي لم تؤثر بالكتب المختصة بذلك.

The aim of this study is to shed light on a linguistic researcher from the Andalusian Era. This is the prominent writer Ibn Odais al-Quda’i, the author of a collection of linguistic works, which were lost from the Arab Library, namely: “AlBaher fi Al-Muthalath Mudafan Ilayhi Almuthanayat,” “Sharh Al-Faseeh,” and “Alsawab fi Sharh Adab Ilkateb.” It traces his linguistic opinions in the sources used by the imams of language and Hadith, while comparing his effort to the effort of others on related issues. The study follows a specific methodology: it began by talking about Ibn Odais’s life and scientific status, and then it proceeded by tracing his linguistic opinions from language sources and other sources and dividing them according to specific linguistic studies and researches. The researcher also studied these opinions to show their scientific status, and to compare the efforts of Ibn Odais to the efforts of other researches. The study concluded that Ibn Odais is a distinguished linguist who has his outstanding scientific status that deserves to be highlighted. It has also concluded that his lost works have a clear impact on the writings of those who follow him. Furthermore, his efforts are not limited to the collection and analysis, but his uniqueness is expressed in some opinions and views which are contrary to the opinions of some other linguists such as Qutrob, Tha’lab, and Ibn Qutaibah. In addition, we have found many issues that do not figure in the literature and works of “Alfaseeh” and “Adab Alkatib.” Moreover, he added some of the linguistic “Muthanayyat” and “Muthalathat” that did not affect the books specialized in them.
