المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى محاولة ضبط عدد صناديق الثروة السيادية لدول مجلس التعاون الخليجي وتوضيح ظروف نشأتها. وتكمن أهميته في التعريف بصناديق الثروة السيادية الخليجية من خلال مواقعها الإلكترونية وضبط أسماءها وأعدادها. اعتمد البحث على المنهج التاريخي من خلال تتبع مسار نشأة الصناديق الخليجية منذ تأسيس أول صندوق سنة 1953 إلى يومنا هذا (2021). ولهذا الغرض تم تصميم استمارة بهدف جمع معلومات من المواقع الإلكترونية لهذه الصناديق باعتبارها مصادر أولية، إلى جانب الاعتماد على مصادر ثانوية. توصل البحث إلى عدة نتائج أهمها: ارتبطت نشأة صناديق الثروة السيادية بوجود فوائض نفطية لدول مجلس التعاون الخليجي ساهمت الطفرات النفطية الثلاث في تراكمها، عرف النصف الثاني من القرن العشرين إنشاء عدد محدود من الصناديق السيادية، في حين شهد مطلع الألفية الثالثة إنشاء أكبر عدد من هذه الصناديق بدول مجلس التعاون بالخليج العربي، وتوصل البحث أخيرا إلى إحصاء 12 صندوق ثروة سيادي خليجي.

This research aims to try to determine the number of sovereign funds for Gulf Cooperation Council countries and to clarify the circumstances of their establishment. Its importance lies in presenting the Gulf sovereign wealth funds through their websites and determining their names and numbers. The research was based on the historical method by retracing the path of the emergence of the Gulf funds from the creation of the first fund in 1953 to the present day (2021). To this end, a questionnaire was designed with the aim of collecting information on the websites of these funds as primary sources, in addition to relying on secondary sources. The research led to several results, the most important of which are: The emergence of sovereign wealth funds was linked to the existence of oil surpluses in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which the three oil booms contributed to their accumulation, the second half of the twentieth century witnessed the establishment of a limited number of sovereign funds, while the beginning of the third millennium witnessed the establishment of the largest number of these funds in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council. Finally, the research reached a tally of 12 Gulf sovereign wealth funds.
