|a يتعامل الروائي هع الوحدات البنيوية المشكلة للرواية بطريقة فنية خاصة به حيث يجعل -مثلا -الأمكنة وثيقة الصلة بالشخصيات، فغالبا ما يأتي وصف تلك الأماكن بمختلف أنواعها، المنغلقة منها والمنفتحة، على لسان الشخصية الحكائية. وما زاد من قوة هذه الصلة بينهما أنه يرد حسب الحالة النفسية للشخصية بدقة. كما أنه وفي أحايين كثيرة يعكس انفعالاتها وسلوكاتها الإيجابية والسلبية. وعلاوة على هذا فقد يجيء ذكر الأمكنة بأسمائها الحقيقية حتى يوهم المتلقي بواقعيتها. لكن وصفها أضفى عليه لمسته الشعرية لأنه في صدد إخراج تلك الحقائق التاريخية إلى عالم الجمال الروائي. هكذا يساهم عنصر المكان في خلق المعنى داخل الرواية ولا يكون دائما تابعا أو سلبيا، بل إنه أحيانا يمكن للروائي أن يحول عنصر المكان إلى وسيلة للتعبير عن موقف الأبطال من العالم. الأمر الذي يفعله الروائي واسيني في الكثير من الأحيان في كتاباته الأدبية حيث يجعل أغلبية الأماكن تعبر عن رؤية أو عن نفسية شخصية ما.
|b The novelist deals with the structural units of the novel in an artistic manner specific to him. For example, he draws relations between places and characters. The description he gives to various kinds of places, closed or open, comes through the tongue of the narrator. What adds power to this relation between the two (place and character) is that the former is described in detail according to the psychological state of the latter. Oftentimes, places reflect the positive and negative behavior of the character. In addition to this, they (places) are referred to by their real names to make the reader purported by their realism. But, the novelist adds to his description of places his poetic touch, because he is about to bring out historical facts to the world of fictional beauty. This is how the element of place contributes to the creation of meaning within the novel. And it is not always positive or negative, but sometimes the novelist can turn the element of place to a means of expressing the attitude of the heroes toward the world. This is what Wassini does in many cases in his literary works, in which he makes the majority of places express a vision or the personality of any character.
