|b Ba’ja presents a Late Pre-Pottery Neolithic archaeological site in the south of Jordan. Archaeologist discovers a variety of settlement structures related to farming that is located on the upper mountain near Wadi Musa. This study focuses on the newly discovered 52 bone tools in the summer season of 2016 in Ba’ja. Archaeozoological analysis was exploited to classify the typology of bone tools. Stereomicroscopy was used to document producer modification on bone tools surfaces to reconstruct manufacture phases and possible use of tools. Study results demonstrate a variety of bone tool typologies like awl, needle and spatula. Analysis of bone tools surfaces leads to the reconstruction of different techniques, production, and development of bone tools. Also, the study results prove a special interest in producing bone tools for specific use.
