المستخلص: غايتنا من هذا المقال تبيان مكانة البلاغة ونطاق امتدادها في مجال علوم اللغة وينصب اهتمامنا عليها كعلم ونهج تحليلي، فدراستها قد تكون هدفا لذاتها أو استراتيجية تحليلية أو أسلوب خطابي يرمي إلى الأقناع أو غيره من الأهداف التي هيأت لها مكانا مسبقا في علوم اللغة.

The purpose of this paper is to suggest a reflection on the importance of the rhetoric and its scope as far as the field of language sciences is concerned. In order to carry on this reflection, our interest is firstly directed towards studying the rhetoric as a discipline. Then, we follow a disciplinary path so as to estimate its significance. It can be a strategy and an aspect of a discursive technique of persuasion. For the sake of the pre-mentioned aims and others, its place in the language sciences is determined in advance.

Cet article propose une réflexion sur la place de la rhétorique et son étendue dans le domaine des sciences du langage. Pour mener cette réflexion, notre intérêt porte tout d’abord sur la rhétorique comme une discipline et une approche d’analyse ensuite nous frayerons des chemins disciplinaires pour estimer son importance. Elle peut constituer un objectif, une stratégie ou un aspect d’une technique discursive visant à persuader. Devant ces visées et d’autres, sa place dans les sciences du langage est déterminée d’avance.
