المستخلص: تتحدث الدراسة عن القبب الثلاث في (المسجد الأقصى المبارك): (قبة الصخرة المشرفة) و(قبة السلسلة) و(قبة المسجد القبلي)، والمسجدين: (مسجد القبة)، و(مسجد القبة الرصاصية)، لا سيما، من حيث فكرة البناء، والمكان والزمان، والتصميم، ودوافع البناء، والتمويل. ويهدف الباحث لتسليط الضوء على فكرة عنوان البحث؛ لإزالة اللبس الذي شاع عن المسجدين، وتوضيح الغموض الذي أحاط بهما، وتبيين الفرق بينهما من حيث فكرة البناء، ومكانهما وزمانهما. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج كثيرة، أهمها تبيين الفرق بين المسجدين، وإظهار الفرق بين القبب، كما أكدت أن كل المباني والبوائك والإعمار الموجود في (المسجد الأقصى المبارك)، قديما وحديثا هو جزء لا يتجزأ منه، وهو ضمن مساحته المعروفة والمحددة، أما التوصية المهمة فتتمثل في أنه من الضروري تصويب تاريخ بناء (قبة الصخرة المشرفة)، ونشر الوعي الثقافي حول (المسجد الأقصى المبارك) وما عليه من مبان على اختلافها.

The study tackles the issue of the three domes of Al-Aqsa Holy Mosque: Dome of the Rock, Cascade Dome, and the South Dome, in addition to the two mosques, Dome Mosque, and Lead-domed Mosque in terms of construction idea, design, motives, and funding. As for objectives of the study, it first elaborates on the title to remove the misconception regarding the two mosques in order to unravel the difference between the mosques pertaining construction idea, place, and time to refute Israeli claims which propagate that Al-Aqsa Holy Mosque is just confined to the golden dome. The study adopted the historical descriptive analytical approach with scientific evidence based on explication, analysis, and justification, as manifested in sources and references. The study concludes with numerous results, the foremost of which are: disclosing the difference between the two mosques, besides differences between the two domes. The study also ascertains that all old and modern buildings together with Bawaek, and constructions constitute an inseparable part of Al-Aqsa Holy Mosque and its specified and acknowledged area. The most important recommendations the study suggests are: to correct the construction date of the Dome of the Rock and to disseminate awareness pertaining Al-Aqsa Mosque and its various constructions.
