المستخلص: معرفة الزمن، من الضرورات التي لا يستغني البشر عنها، في جميع شئون حياتهم الدينية والدنيوية؛ فبه تعرف أوقات العبادات، وآجال المعاملات، وحدود الاتفاقيات والمعاهدات، وأوقات سريان اللوائح والقرارات، ومدد الطعون في الأحكام والأقضيات لذلك كان من أهم أسس التعامل بين الأفراد والدول: أن يكون هناك تاريخ يرجعون إليه في جميع شئون حياتهم؛ ولما كان للتأريخ وتحديد الزمن هذه الأهمية، فإن جميع الدول تحرص على ضرورة العمل به والنص عليها في دساتيرها وسائر القوانين واللوائح الصادرة ممن يمثلها، وتستخدم تقويما معينا من التقاويم المعروفة عالميا؛ تؤرخ على أساسه، وتعتبره رمزا لهويتها، وقوميتها وتلزم جميع أفرادها أن يسيروا عليه جميع شؤونهم. وفي عصرنا الذي نعيش فيه يعتبر التقويم الهجري والميلادي هما أشهر التقاويم؛ لذا كان محور البحث حولهما في أربعة مباحث: المبحث الأول مفهوم التقويم وأنواعه والمبحث الثاني: نشأة التقويم الهجري والتقويم الميلادي والمبحث الثالث: ضوابط الحكم الفقهي في مسألة التقويم والمبحث الرابع: دليل من قال بعدم جواز الاعتماد على التقويم الميلادي، وقد توصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج منها: أنه لا يوجد دليل على حرمة استعمال تقويم معين ما دام منضبطا في حساباته تستقر به المعاملات بين البشر فيبقى الأمر على الإباحة الأصلية وهو متروك لولي الأمر يقرر ما يراه ما يراه صالحا يجوز وبلا حرج أن نستعين بالتاريخ الميلادي بجوار التاريخ الهجري غير مستبعدين للتاريخ الهجري وذلك لاستقرار المعاملات بين البشر ولعدم وجود ما يمنع شرعا من استخدام كليهما معا ومما يؤكد ذلك أن الصحابة رضوان الله عليهم لما قدموا مصر فاتحين تركوا أهلها وتقويمهم الذي كانوا يعتمدون عليه في زراعتهم من بذر ونبت وحصاد والذي لا يزال معمولا به إلى يومنا هذا دون نكير

The knowledge of time, which is an indispensable requirement for mankind in all matters of their religious and secular lives; It defines the times of worship, the time of transactions, the limits of agreements and treaties, the times of entry into force of regulations and decisions, and the length of appeals in judgements and cases. This has been one of the most important bases for dealing between individuals and states: There must be a date to which they must return in all matters of their lives; Since chronology and time-limitation are of such importance, all States take care to ensure that it is implemented and enshrined in their constitutions and other laws and regulations promulgated by their representatives, and use a certain calendar of universally known calendars; It is dated on its basis, and it considers it to be a symbol of its identity and nationalism, and it obliges all its members to control all their affairs. In our era, the Hijri and Gregorian calendar are the most famous calendars; So the focus of their research was four discussions: the first one is the calendar concept and types and the second one : the origin of the Hijri calendar, the Gregorian calendar and the third inquirer : disciplines of jurisprudence on calendar and fourth inquirer: Evidence from those who said that the Gregorian calendar is not reliable, the research yielded a number of results, including: There is no evidence of the inviolability of the use of a particular calendar as long as it is kept in its accounts for transactions between humans. The matter remains with the original license, and it is up to the guardian to decide what he or she deems fit it is permissible, and without embarrassment, to use Gregorian history next to Hijri's, not excluding Islamic history, because of the stability of dealings between humans and because there is no religious prohibition against using both together. This is confirmed by the fact that the Companions are pleased by Allah's approval of them, when they presented Egypt as conquerors, leaving behind their people and establishing the values they depended on for their agriculture, such as seeds, plants, and harvests, which are still practiced to this day without denying
