المستخلص: يعد المكان في حقيقة مضامينه هوية تاريخية ومادية ماثلة للعيان، فهو القادر على حفظ التاريخ وإظهاره؛ لأنه انعكاس للزمن، وليس الهوية التاريخية وحدها التي تحدد المكان، بل هناك أيضا الظروف الاجتماعية والسياسية والحربية ومختلف الأحداث التي تفرض وتفرز مكانا لم يكن موجودا على أرض الواقع، فأهمية المكان هنا لا تقاس تبعا لهندسته وشكله وإنما تكمن في دلالاته الجمالية التي تقبع في ثنايا الرواية، إضافة إلى أنه يثير إحساسا ما بالمواطنة وإحساسا آخر بالزمن والمحلية، حتى لنحسبه المكان الذي لا يحدث شيء بدونه، فقد حمله الروائيون تاريخ بلادهم، ومطامح شخوصهم، فكان واقعا ورمزا وشرائح وقطاعات، مدنا وقرى، كيانا نتلمسه ونراه، فلا قيمة للمكان إذا لم يقترن بمشاعر وأحاسيس شخوصه من قريب أو من بعيد، فهو البيت الذي يبعث على الدفء والطمأنينة، كما أنه الماضي الذي يظل عالقا في الذاكرة طول العمر، سواء كان هذا الماضي واقعيا أم متخيلا. وفي هذا البحث سنقوم بإبراز هذه الجمالية من خلال الأمكنة التي استعرضها أحمد حمدي في روايته، والتي تدل على التاريخ بإحالته النفسية والرمزية في فترة تركت بصماتها على صفحات التاريخ الجزائري، هي فترة الثورة التحريرية، فكيف وظف الكاتب هذا العنصر الروائي الذي جعله عنوانا لروايته "حومة الطليان"؟ وما هي أهم الأماكن التاريخية المذكورة في هذه الرواية؟
