المستخلص: أسفرت نهاية الحرب الباردة على تفوق استراتيجي للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، حيث جمعت بين امتلاك القدرات بشتى أوجهها، والقدرة على التأثير، وقد مكنها ذلك من الهيمنة على النظام الدولي. وخلال سنوات الهيمنة الأمريكية، كانت دولا أخرى تبحث عن تحصيل مزيد من القوة، والسعي لتغيير الوضع القائم على الهيمنة الأمريكية إلى وضع جديد في إطار نظرية تحول القوة، على غرار الصين. وبالفعل، ما فتئت الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية تستشعر خطر الصعود الصيني كمنافس جدي لها، خاصة على المستوى الاقتصادي، لما لهذا المستوى من ثقل وتأثير ضمن نظرية تحول القوة. وبناء عليه، تستهدف هذه الورقة البحثية معالجة موضوع التنافس الأمريكي الصيني من خلال نظريتي الهيمنة وتحول القوة، ومحاولة بيان ملامح مستقبل هذا التنافس بين الطرفين، واستشراف أهم سيناريوهاته المستقبلية. ولتحليل الموضوع، تم استخدام منهج دراسة الحالة لكونه يساعد على مطابقة نظرية الهيمنة في الطرف الأمريكي، وتجسيد نظرية تحول القوة في الطرف الصيني، كما أن هذا المنهج يتميز بالعمق أكثر كونه يساعد على تحري المعلومات بدقة والاهتمام بكل شيء عن الحالة المدروسة بما في ذلك اتجاهاتها في المستقبل، ويتيح نتائج أكثر دقة وموضوعية. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى استمرار المنافسة الصينية للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية باعتماد المدخل الاقتصادي لتحول القوة، وعمل الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية على إدامة هيمنتها من خلال تعطيل تحول القوة لصالح الصين.

The end of the Cold War resulted in the strategic supremacy of the United States of America, which allowed them to dominate the international system. During the years of American hegemony following the end of the Cold War, other countries sought the force necessary to change the situation within the framework of force transformation theory. The evolution of world affairs has shown the emergence of China as a competitor with all the qualifications to compete with the United States of America, especially economically. Accordingly, this research paper aims to address the issue of US-China competition through theories of hegemony and power Transition, and explore its most important future scenarios. The method of case studies was used to analyze this topic, as it allows to apply the theory of hegemony on the American side, and to embody the theory of change of force on the Chinese side. This approach is characterized by more depth and allows to accurately investigate the information and pay attention to everything about the studied case, including its future trends, and provides more accurate and objective results. The study resulted in a result represented in the pursuit of Chinese competition with the United States of America by adopting the economic approach of power Transition, and on the other hand, the United States of America continue to perpetuate their hegemony by disrupting the power Transition in favor of China at the military level. The study concluded that China will continue to compete with the United States of America by adopting the economic approach to the transformation of power, while America will continue to perpetuate its hegemony by disrupting the transformation of power.
