|a يعتبر الأمن من ضروريات كل مجتمع، لأنه أساس التطور العلمي والتكنولوجي والاستقرار، فمنطقة المتوسط تعرف الكثير من الأحداث التي أثرت عليها من الجانب الأمني، وخاصة نتيجة الحروب والنزاعات الدولية وغير الدولية التي تعرفها حاليا، وهو ما يعتبر عائق أمام تحقيق الأمن بالإضافة إلى الهجرة غير الشرعية نحو الدول الأوروبية بالرغم من المخاطر التي تواجه المهاجرين، كما أن التسابق نحو التسلح من قبل الدول المتوسطية جعل الأمن يفقد وكل دولة تسعى لتسلح أكبر من الأخرى خوفا من الاعتداء عليها.

The Mediterranean region knows many of the events that affected it from the security side, especially as a result of wars and international and non-international conflicts that you currently know.
