|b Since its inception in the 1960s, Islamic banking has been on the market for nearly sixty years. Islamic finance has come a long way since then, and it is no longer a foreign notion. Not just among Muslim countries, but also among non-Muslim countries, the products and services given have been favorably received. However, there is little discussion of how an Islamic bank compares to a conventional bank in terms of corporate social responsibility. The paper examines and analyzes relevant literature in order to do so; the report stated that the notion of Islamic banking that complies with religious mandate should reflect more aggressive CSR activities and policies. In comparison to conventional banks, Islamic banks should perform better.
|d Depuissacréationdans les années 1960, la banque islamique est présente sur le marché depuis près de soixante ans. La finance islamique a parcouru un long chemin depuis lors, et ce n'est plus une notion étrangère. Non seulement parmi les pays musulmans, mais aussi parmi les pays non musulmans, les produits et services offerts ont été favorablement accueillis.
