المستخلص: هدفت من بحثي في العلة النحوية ومعالجات النحاة النظرية لها، مناقشة ودراسة المحاور التالية: -تعريف العلة النحوية في اللغة والاصطلاح. -مراحل التعليل عند النحاة وجهودهم فيها. -ثبوت العلة وصحتها. -أقسام العلة وأنواعها. -بعض صور التعليل عند النحاة. -موقف النحاة من العلل-منطقية العلل. -مناقشة التعليل في النحو في نظر النحاة، ودراسة موقف ابن مضاء في وجود التعليل في النحو العربي. الحديث عن العلل كثير متشعب واسع؛ فمن النحاة من استحسن العلل وتبحر فيها، ومنهم من رفض العلل الثواني والثوالث؛ كابن مضاء في كتابه: (الرد على النحاة)، ويبقى المجال للباحث مفتوحا ليبحث في هذا الموضوع، وربما نجد من الباحثين من يدعو إلى تصفية النحو من النوع الثالث من العلل وهي: الجدلية، فلم تزيد النحو إلا تعقيدا وإبهاما وغرابة. ومن هنا ندرك أن السؤال عن العلة قديم قدم البشرية وجدت يوم وجد العقل البشري. فلم تكن الدراسة اللغوية والنحوية بدعا في التعليل والتفسير اللذين كان النحاة يلجؤون إليهما في أثناء وضع القواعد اللغوية العامة؛ ليظهروا ما يتوصلون إليه من نتائج لغوية في صورة معقولة متفقة مع منطق اللغة المدروسة وملائمة لنفسية المتكلمين بها وبيئتهم وزمانهم، وهذا كله من أجل التمكن من إظهار مدى خضوع تلك الأحكام للظواهر اللغوية.

The purpose of my research in the grammatical illness and the grammarians' theoretical treatments for it was to discuss and study the following topics: Defining the grammatical illness in language and terminology. The stages of reasoning for the grammarians and their efforts in it. E to prove the cause and validity. Categories and types of illness. Some pictures of the explanation at the grammarians. The grammarians' position on the ills - the logical reasoning. Discussing the reasoning in grammar from the point of view of the grammarians, and studying the position of Ibn Mada’a regarding the existence of reasoning in Arabic grammar. Talking about ills is many and wide. Among the grammarians are those who approve of the causes and explore them, and among them are those who reject the second and third causes. As Ibn Madi’a in his book: (Responding to the Grammarians), and the researcher remains open to discuss this subject, and perhaps we will find some researchers who call for the purification of grammar from the third type of ills, namely: dialectics, as the grammar has only increased complexity, ambiguity and strangeness. From here we realize that the question about the cause is as old as humanity and existed on the day the human mind existed. Linguistic and grammatical study was not an innovation in the reasoning and interpretation that grammarians used to resort to while laying down general linguistic rules. To show the linguistic results they reach in a reasonable form consistent with the logic of the studied language and appropriate to the psyche of the speakers, their clarity and their time, and all this is in order to be able to show the extent to which those rulings are subject to linguistic phenomena.
