المستخلص: In this research, the researcher turns the pages of the past to learn about the situation of women and how women have been suffering since the pre-Islamic era and religions that preceded Islam and then their fairness in the Islamic religion, and sheds light on the opinions of the most famous Greek and Western philosophers and Muslim philosophers, especially Ibn Rushd, whose subject of research revolves around his insightful and pivotal views. In his defense and fairness to women, he is a supporter of women’s rights based on his philosophical thought, and his Islamic, human and moral values, in his view, women’s rights are a legitimate thing, and this issue does not contradict the Sharia, and linking the issue of women to a philosophical, educational and reforming issue, and it is no secret that Ibn Rushd holds an insight and wide scientific value in the issue of women’s equality and raises her status as she represents the whole of society, The researcher indicated that Islam honored women, but women remained humiliated both in the Islamic and non- Islamic society at the present time, in Western societies suffering from persecution and discrimination, and through this research, the method followed by Ibn Rushd in his defense of women’s rights, which in his view was stolen, a statement of his views through his explanation and clarification of the book Plato’s Republic, and Plato: He is a Greek philosopher where Ibn Rushd employed his ideas to reach his goal.
