المستخلص: "مشكلة البحث: تبلورت في السؤال الرئيس التالي: كيف صور سعد الله ونوس شخصية رجل الدين الإسلامي في مسرحياته. أهمية البحث: الشخصية الدينية تعد من المحرمات التي يحاول كتاب المسرح الابتعاد عن تناولها؛ لذا فإن تناولها بهذا الشكل الكبير في مسرح سعد الله ونوس يعد ظاهرة تستحق البحث. أهداف البحث: الوقوف على سمات وملامح صورة رجل الدين كما تعكسها عينة البحث. منهج البحث: الوصفي طريقة اختيار العينة: قامت الباحثة بمسح شامل لكل أعمال سعد الله ونوس المسرحية، واختارت بطريقة عمدية كل أعماله التي تناولت شخصية رجل الدين بشكل واضح وصريح. عينة الدراسة: نصوص "" الملك هو الملك""، سهرة مع أبي خليل القباني، "" يوم من زماننا""، ""طقوس الإشارات والتحولات""، "" مغامرة رأس المملوك جابر""، و""حفلة سمر من أجل 5 حزيران"". نتائج البحث: - أظهر سعد الله ونوس جميع رجال الدين في نصوصه المسرحية، عينة البحث، بالرجال المنافقين الذين يستخدمون الدين لتحقيق مآربهم الشخصية فقط. - يحظى رجل الدين – في النصوص المسرحية -عينة البحث – باحترام وتقدير وتوقير غالبية الشعب، وله تأثير كبير على الرعية في البلاد. - رجال الدين في النصوص -عينة البحث ينافقون السلطة الحاكمة، والسلطة الحاكمة تحميهم. كما أنهم يتظاهرون بالورع والتقوى. كما أنهم يلعبون دورا كبيرا في تشكيل وعي الناس وخداعهم. كما أنهم يعملون من أجل الهدم وليس للبناء."

The research problem crystallized into the following main question: How did Saadallah Wannous portray the character of the Islamic cleric in his plays? The significance of this research lies in the fact that the religious character is often considered taboo by playwrights, making Wannous' comprehensive treatment of this character in his theatre a phenomenon worthy of investigation. The research objectives include identifying the characteristics and features of the image of the cleric as depicted in the research sample. The research method employed is descriptive, and the sample selection method involved a comprehensive survey of all Saadallah Wannous' theatrical works. The researcher deliberately selected all works that addressed the personality of the cleric in a clear and direct manner. The study sample includes the texts of "The King is the King," "An Evening with Abu Khalil al-Qabbani," "A Day in Our Time," "Rituals of Signs and Transformations," "The Adventure of Ras al-Mamluk Jaber," and "Summer Party for June 5." Study Results: Saadallah Wannous depicted all clerics in his theatrical works, which form the basis of this research, as hypocritical individuals who exploit religion solely to fulfill their personal ambitions. Within the theatrical texts constituting the research sample, the cleric holds significant respect, admiration, and influence over the majority of the populace, garnering reverence from parishioners across the country. The clerics in these texts, part of the research sample, engage in hypocrisy towards the ruling authority while benefiting from its protection. They feign piety and religious devotion, playing a pivotal role in shaping public perception and deceiving them.
