المستخلص: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى دارسة أبعاد القيادة التحويلية (الجاذبية القيادية، التحفيز الإلهامي، الاستثارة الفكرية والاعتبار الفردي) لدى عمر رضي الله عنه. وقد تطرقت الدراسة إلى وصف فترة خلافة عمر، ثم بينت مفاهيم القيادة التحويلية وبعد ذلك تطرقت إلى أبعادها والآراء المختلفة حولها والعوامل المؤثرة عليها، ثم دراسة هذه الأبعاد لدى عمر. وقد استخدمت الدراسة المنهج التاريخي الاستقرائي في وصف جوانب تطبيق عمر رضي الله عنه لأبعاد القيادة التحويلية، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج منها: أن التاريخ الإسلامي يزخر بنماذج قيادية مميزة مثل عمر بن الخطاب، للإسلام تأثير عظيم في شخصية عمر، وأن عمر طبق أبعاد القيادة التحويلية خلال فترة حكمه. وقدمت الدراسة بعض التوصيات والمقترحات منها: فتح تخصص القيادة التربوية في الإسلام ضمن برامج الدراسات العليا، تقديم برامج تدريبية للقادة للاستفادة من القادة المتميزون في التاريخ الإسلامي لا سيما النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وخلفاؤه الراشدون، اعتماد برامج دبلوم ودورات طويلة للقادة لدراسة وفهم السيرة النبوية وسيرة الخلفاء، عمل دراسة تحليلية لتطبيق أبعاد القيادة التحويلية في شخصية الملك سلمان حفظه الله، ودراسة تاريخية لتطبيق أبعاد القيادة التحويلية في شخصيات إسلامية أخرى.

This study aims to study the dimensions of transformational leadership (idealized influence (charisma), inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration) in Omar bin al- Khattab. The study describes the period of Omar’s succession. Then, it demonstrates the concepts of transformational leadership, its dimensions, the different opinions about it, the factors affecting it, and then studying these dimensions found in Omar. The study uses the historical inductive approach to describe aspects of Omar's application of the dimensions of transformational leadership. The study reaches several results among which is that Islamic history abounds with distinct leadership models such as Omar bin Al-Khattab, Islam has a great influence on Omar's personality, and that Omar applied the dimensions of transformational leadership. The study presents some of the proposals and suggestions, including opening the field of educational leadership specialization in Islam in graduate programs, providing training programs for leaders to benefit from distinguished leaders in Islamic history, especially the Prophet and his successors, creating diploma programs and long courses for leaders to study and understand the Prophet’s biography and the biography of the caliphs. The study also proposes conducting an analytical study of the transformational leadership in King Salman, may God protect him, and a historical study to measure the transformational dimensions in other muslim figures.
