يرجع ازدهار القومية في أمريكا اللاتينية (البرازيل- المكسيك- الأرجنتين) إلى ثلاثة عوامل أولها خصوبة وتنوع موسيقاتها الشعبية والدارجة، وثانيها وجود أجيال من المؤلفين الموهوبين والمتمكنين ممن أقبلوا على هذه الموسيقيات بحماس وطني وفني ليلتمسوا فيها منابع إلهامهم، ويعتبر مانويل بونس (1882- 1948) Manuel Ponce رائد الحركة القومية المكسيكية في الموسيقا فهو مؤسس موسيقاها الحديثة كما كتب مؤلفات مستوحاه من الموسيقا الشعبية بأسلوب رومانسي للبيانو والجيتار والأوركسترا، وتميزت مؤلفات مانويل بونس للبيانو باستخدام النماذج الإيقاعية المتعددة والتنوع في الأفكار اللحنية والاهتمام بالتظليل والمصطلحات التعبيرية والتقنيات العزفية، ولهذا هدفت تلك الدراسة إلى تحديد التقنيات العزفية التي تحتوي عليها مازوركا البيانو (عينة البحث) وباستخدام المنهج التحليلي للتقنيات العزفية للمازوركا رقم (1، 6)، وتوصلت النتائج إلى تحديدا وأشكال مختلفة من التقنيات العزفية للبيانو وكيفية الاستفادة منها في عملية التعليم الموسيقى لدارسي البيانو.
