المستخلص: يقصد هذا البحث إلى الإسهام في علاج مشكلة تنافر الضرائر أو التخفيف من حدتها، وذلك من خلال عرض قصة من السيرة، طرفها "أن نساء رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كن حزبين". وقد تصرف بعض الرواة في هذا الحديث فجعله ثلاثة أحاديث، فعزمت على أن أكتب بحثا بعنوان: (حديث "أن نساء رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كن حزبين" رواية ودراية)؛ بهدف ذكر من أخرج هذا الحديث، وبيان درجته، وإيضاح ما فيه من فوائد، وأحكام، مع بيان مشكله. وقد اتبعت فيه منهج الاستقراء والتحليل في جمع الطرق، وبيان مفردات النص، والنظر في مسائله. وكان من أهم نتائج هذا البحث أن نساء النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كن طائفتين اتفق مزاج كل طائفة منهما ورأيها في عشرتها وصحبتها، وأن الغيرة ينبغي ألا تكون سببا لظلم الضرائر بعضهن البعض أو مانعا من إنصاف بعضهن البعض.

This research is intended to contribute to treating the problem of: Disharmony between Co-Wives and Lessening its Severity, by expounding upon a narrative from the Prophetic Biography which begins with: "The Wives of the Prophet consisted of two groups…" Some of the narrators of these narrations mentioned that these were separate issues which happened at different instances with the Family of the Prophet, but they are in actuality one story which happened in one instance even though different parts of it are narrated through different chains. Therefore I resolved to write a research paper entitled: "The Wives of the Prophet consisted of Two Groups "Analysis of the Hadith's Transmission and Word Content. With the aim of mentioning who reported the hadeeth and stating its level of authenticity, as well as clarifying what it contains from benefits and rulings along with any apparent inconsistencies. I have followed a methodology of analytical deduction and verification in gathering the different chains of narration, and have used a methodology of analysis in explaining the wording of the text and in observing the rulings contained therein. So from the most important conclusions that I have reached in this research is that the Wives of the Prophet consisted of two groups, each group being similar in disposition and opinions with regard to living with each other and friendship. Furthermore, jealousy should neither be a reason for co-wives to oppress each other nor prevent each other from being just.
