المستخلص: يعد علم الخواطر من أهم علوم الباطن؛ لما له من أثر كبير في تحديد مسار الفعل الإنساني، لذلك أولى علماء الصوفية هذا العلم عناية فائقة، وأفردوا له مكانا كبيرا في مؤلفاتهم، ومن بين هؤلاء العلماء: الإمام أبو حامد الغزالي. وتحدث الغزالي عن الخواطر حديثا يبدو فيه أثر السادة الصوفية، وكانت له جهود كبيرة ومساع مشكورة وإضافات تميز بها عن سابقيه في هذا المجال، وعلى الرغم من أنه لم يفرد كتابا مستقلا في هذا الجانب إلا أنني بعد البحث وجدت له آراء منتشرة في بعض كتبه، كإحياء علوم الدين، ومنهاج العابدين، وروضة الطالبين. فكانت هذه دراسة تهدف إلى إبراز هذا العلم عند الإمام الغزالي، تناولت فيها تحديد مفهوم الخواطر، وبيان محلها، وكيفية التمييز بينها، وواجب العبد تجاهها، ثم بيان ما يؤاخذ به وما لا يؤخذ به، متبعا في ذلك المنهج التحليلي الاستنباطي.

The science of phantasm is the most important science of the unconscious for its great influence on specifying the mainstream of humanitarian response. Therefore, the Sufi scientists gave great priority to this science and assigned a large space to this science in their literary output. One of those scientists is Imam Abu Hamed Al- Ghazali. Al- Ghazali handled phantasm in one of his speeches in a way which showed the impact of the pioneering Sufis. Al- Ghazali is also well-known for his great and praiseworthy efforts as well as his distinct addition which made him distinguished in such a field. Although Al- Ghazali has not assigned a separate book in this respect, the researcher managed to trace his views as spread across some of his books such as 'Ihyaa Oloum Al- Deen' (Reviving the Sciences of Religion), 'Manhaj Al- Abedeem' (The Discipline of the Worshippers) and 'Rawdhat Al- Talebn' (The Orchid of the Seekers). The main idea of this research is to display the importance of this science for Imam Al-Ghazali. The researcher has handled the idea of specifying the concept of phantasm, its importance and the differences that may separate a variety of phantasms. It also highlights the duty of the worshipper towards phantasm showing what can be relied on and what can be disregarded. The research applies the deductive analytical approach.
