المستخلص: استهدفت دراسة (الخطابات المتصارعة وأثرها في بناء شخصية الفرد العراقي) التعرف على أنواع الخطابات السائدة في المجتمع العراقي وكذلك التعرف على أبرز الخطابات المتصارعة وأثر هذا الصراع في بناء ورصانة خطابات الشخصية العراقية. استخدم في هذه الدراسة منهجين (المنهج الكيفي، المنهج التأويلي)، أما لجمع المعلومات فقد استخدم الوسائل الإحصائية المتمثلة ب (الملاحظة والمقابلة والاستبيان). تضمنت الدراسة على خمسة مباحث، الأول الإطار العام للدراسة، أما الثاني يتضمن (صراع الخطابات وأزمة تشكيل الهوية العراقية) الثالث فيتناول (أثر الخطاب الديني في شخصية الفرد العراقي)، الرابع يتضمن (أثر الخطاب السياسي في شخصية الفرد العراقي) أما الخامس يتضمن (أثر الخطاب الإعلامي في شخصية الفرد العراقي).

The aim of this study (The conflict of discourses and its effect on the formation of the personality of the Iraqi individual) is to identify the types of the prevalent discourses in the Iraqi society, as well as to identify the most prominent conflicting discourses and the effect of this conflict in building and sobriety of the Iraqi personality's discourse In this study, The Resear used two methods (qualitative approach, interpretive approach) and used the statistical means represented by (observation, interview, and questionnaire) to collect information. The researcher selected Al_Diwaniyah city as a research community and the sample (purposive and non-purposive). The study included the impact of the conflict of discourses on the personality and consists of five chapter, The first chapter includes the main elements of the study. .the second chapter for (conflict of discourse and the difficulty of forming the Iraqi identity), while the third chapter deals with (the effect of the religious discourse on the personality of the Iraqi individual), the fourth chapter for (the effect of the political discourse on the personality of the Iraqi individual) and the fifth chapter established (the effect of the media discourse on the personality of the Iraqi individual).
