المستخلص: هجرة الشباب ظاهرة مجتمعية مركبة ومتعددة الأبعاد، بما تتضمنه من هجرة للمهارات والكفاءات التي تمثل أحد أهم مقومات التنمية على المدى القصير والبعيد، لأن الشباب هم صانعوا التنمية وأن التنمية أعدت من أجلهم لما يتصفون به من خصائص قابلة للتغيير والتشكيل أو الاستبدال، فمن الواجب الاهتمام بهذه الشريحة من خلال تقوية روح المسؤولية لديهم تجاه مجتمعهم، عن طريق زيادة وعيهم بقضايا المجتمع ودورهم في نهوضه وتقدمهم كطاقة خلاقة ومجددة. أما عينة البحث أساتذة جامعة بغداد لكليات (التربية للبنات، العلوم السياسية، الأعلام، الآداب، الهندسة، العلوم) والبالغ عددها 50 مبحوثا، قد تسهم في الحصول على معلومات كافية عن موضوع يمثل واقع أثر على جميع شرائح المجتمع. أما هدف البحث، التعرف على العوامل التي زادت من هجرة الشباب وأثارها الإيجابية والسلبية، وأبرز نتائج البحث أكدت الغالبية العظمى من المبحوثين أن وسائل الاتصال والتكنولوجيا الحديثة شجعت على هجرة الشباب، ومن توصيات البحث الاهتمام بفئة الشباب كونهم الفئة الأكثر دينامية في المجتمع من خلال التشجيع على الاستثمار وإنشاء المشاريع الصغيرة مع استدامة تمويل سياسات التمكين في قطاعات (التعليم والصحة والتشغيل والمشاركة بأشكالها المختلفة).

Youth migration is a complex and multidimensional societal phenomenon, including the migration of skills and competencies that represent one of the most important components of development in the short and long term. It includes a migration of skills and competencies that represent one of the most important elements of development in the short and long term, because young people are the makers of development and that development was prepared for them because of their characteristics that are subject to change, formation and replacement. It is imperative to pay attention to this segment by strengthening their sense of responsibility towards their society by increasing their awareness of society’s issues and their role in its rise and progress as a creative and renewable energy. As for the sample of the research, it included the professors of Baghdad University for colleges (education for girls, political science, media, arts, and engineering) and the number of 50 respondents. It may contribute to obtaining sufficient information on a topic that represents a reality that affects all segments of society. As for the aim of the research, to identify the factors that increased youth migration and its positive and negative effects, and the most prominent results of the research confirmed the vast majority of respondents that the means of communication and modern technology encouraged the migration of young people, and among the recommendations of the study, attention to the youth category being the most dynamic in society through encouraging investment And the establishment of small projects with the sustainability of financing enabling policies in sectors (Education, health, employment and participation in its various forms).
