المستخلص: يتناول هذا المقال مدى مواءمة تطبيق منهج النقد الأدبي في تحليل الأعمال المسرحية انطلاقا من النظرة التي كانت تعتبر أن العمل المسرحي نوع أدبي، وبالتالي فهو يخضع أثناء تحليل مادته للأدوات المعرفية نفسها المطبقة على بقية الأنواع الأدبية، حيث كان الاهتمام ينصب حول حياة الكاتب ومدى تـأثيرها في العمل المسرحي والعلاقة بين مختلف عناصرها، كما اهتمت الدراسات المسرحية-وعلى غرار بقية الأنواع الأدبية-في مرحلة لاحقة في البحث في العوامل السياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية التي أثرت بدورها في الإنتاج المسرحي. وعليه، فإن هذه الدراسة تطرح الاتجاهات المختلفة للنقاد في دراسة المسرح، والتي تفصل بين كون المسرح نصا "أدبيا" وبين كونه "عرضا" يقدم أمام الجمهور، حيث كان لا بد من ابتكار أدوات جديدة تجيب عن أسئلة تطرحها الأشكال الفنية الجديدة. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج عديدة، على غرار، أن العمل المسرحي عملا تركيبيا قائما على تركيب الأشياء أو الأغراض ووضعها في فضاء العرض، كما طرحت مفاهيم من شأنها تغيير النظرة إلى المسرح، وأنه لا يمكن الحديث عن المسرح إذا لم ينظر له خارج مفهوم الأدب، وهذا ما من شأنه أن يفتح النقاش في الجامعة الجزائرية التي فتحت تخصصات في المسرح من خلال التساؤل الآتي: هل يمكن التكوين في المسرح من داخل مدرجات الجامعة فقط؟

This article deals with the suitability of applying the literary criticism approach in analyzing theatrical works from the view that the theatrical work is a literary type, and therefore it is subject, during the analysis of its material, to the same cognitive tools applied to the rest of the literary genres, where the attention was focused on the writer’s life and its impact on the life of the writer. Theatrical work and the relationship between its various elements. Theatrical studies - like the rest of literary genres - at a later stage were interested in researching the political, economic and social factors that in turn affected theatrical production. Accordingly, this study presents the different trends of critics in the study of theater, which separates the theater from being a "literary" text and being a "show" presented to the audience, as it was necessary to invent new tools that answer the questions posed by the new artistic forms. The study reached several results, such as that theatrical work is a synthetic work based on the installation of objects or purposes and placing them in the display space, as well as concepts that will change the view of theater, and that it is not possible to talk about theater if it is not viewed outside the concept of literature, and this What would open the debate in the Algerian university, which opened specializations in theater through the following question: Is it possible to train in theater from inside the university's stands only?
