المستخلص: تميل الفتيات الجامعيات أن يظهرن بإطلالة عصرية باتباع أحدث الصيحات، فيتسارعن لشراء الملابس ذات الطابع الغريب مما قد يتسبب في ظهورهن بشكل غير لائق لا يتناسب مع عادات وتقاليد المجتمع الشرقي والحرم الجامعي مما دعا الباحثتان إلى استخدام أسلوب (Slashing) كأسلوب عصري لزخرفة وتجديد وإصلاح ملابس فتيات الجامعة لإرضاء أذواقهن في إطار الأخلاقيات الملبسية المسموح بها، وهدف البحث إلى توظيف أسلوب (Slashing) في زخرفة الملابس لرفع القيمة الجمالية والوظيفية لملابس طالبات الجامعة، وتكونت عينة البحث من عينة عشوائية من طالبات الجامعة وعددهن (٥٠) طالبة، وتكونت منتجات البحث من (١٠) قطع ملبسية مزخرفة بأسلوب (Slashing)، واتبع البحث الحالي المنهج الوصفي التحليلي والمنهج التجريبي، واشتملت أدوات البحث على (استبيان آراء الأساتذة المتخصصين في القطع الملبسية المزخرفة بأسلوب (Slashing)، واستبيان لقياس درجة تقبل المستهلكات (طالبات الجامعة) للقطع الملبسية المزخرفة بأسلوب Slashing)). وأسفرت النتائج عما يلي: 1. توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين القطع الملبسية العشر المزخرفة بأسلوب (Slashing) في تحقيق الجانب الجمالي وفقا لآراء المتخصصين. 2. توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين القطع الملبسية العشر المزخرفة بأسلوب (Slashing) في تحقيق الجانب الوظيفي وفقا لآراء المتخصصين. 3. توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين القطع الملبسية العشر المزخرفة بأسلوب (Slashing) في تحقيق الجانب التقني وفقا لآراء المتخصصين. 4. توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين القطع الملبسية العشر المزخرفة بأسلوب (Slashing) وفقا لآراء المتخصصين. 5. توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين القطع الملبسية العشر المزخرفة بأسلوب (Slashing) وفقا لآراء المستهلكات (طالبات الجامعة).

University female students tend to appear with a modern look by following the latest trends, thus they rush to buy strange clothes, which may make them appear in an inappropriate look which is not in line with the customs and traditions of the eastern community and the university campus. For this reason, the researchers used Slashing as a modern style to decorate, renew and repair the clothing of university female students to satisfy their tastes within the framework of the permissible dress code. The aim of the current research was to employ Slashing in the decoration of clothes to raise the aesthetic and functional value of the clothing of university female students. The research sample consisted of a random group of university female students (N=50), and the research products consisted of (10) pieces of clothing decorated in the Slashing style. The current research adopted both the descriptive analytical method and the experimental method. The research instruments included a questionnaire designed for the views of professors specializing in clothing decorated in the style of Slashing, and a questionnaire to measure the degree of consumer acceptance (university female students) of the pieces of clothing decorated in the style of Slashing. Results revealed the following: 1. There are statistically significant differences between the ten pieces of clothing decorated in the style of Slashing on achieving the aesthetic aspect according to the views of specialists. 2. There are statistically significant differences between the ten pieces of clothing decorated in the style of Slashing on achieving the functional aspect according to the views of specialists. 3. There are statistically significant differences between the ten pieces of clothing decorated in the style of Slashing on achieving the technical aspect according to the views of specialists. 4. There are statistically significant differences between the ten pieces of clothing decorated in the style of Slashing according to the views of specialists. 5. There are statistically significant differences between the ten pieces of clothing decorated in the style of slashing according to the views of consumers (university female students).
