يعد مجال الأشغال الفنية أحد أهم المجالات التي تتيح للفنان فرص الإبداع بالخامات الطبيعة المتوفرة في بيئته المحيطة، وبالرغم من أن الطبيعة تعد مصدر لإلهام الفنان بإتاحة العديد من المجالات للإبداع من خلال التشكيل بالخامات البيئية، إلا أنه لا يزال هناك بعضاً من الخامات التي لم تحظى بالقدر الوافي من الدراسة والتطبيق؛ منها نبات الأسل الذي يعتبر من الخامات الطبيعية التي يعتمد في استخدامه على شكله المتميز وهو خام محققاً ثراء فنيا في ملمسه ولونه الطبيعي، فضلا عن قابليته للتوليف مع خامات أخرى مناسبة لتحقق التناغم من خلال التقنيات الفنية، وتعد الأقمشة المتنوعة أحد تلك الخامات المناسبة للعمل بها مع نبات الأسل؛ لما لها من خصائص متعددة كالطواعية والمرونة وبما تحمله من قيما جمالية متعددة تسهم في توفير تشكيلات فنية غير نمطية، علاوة على سهولة توافرها وتعدد أنواعها، لتحقيق قيم فنية تدعم العمل الفني الجداري تشكيلياً، حيث أن الجداريات تعتبر من أهم الفنون التي تتأثر إيجابا بالظروف البيئية والحضارية، وتعكسها بصورة ملفتة معتمدة على أفكار الفنان الإبداعية في استثمار الخامات البيئية المتوفرة، فيضيف ما لديه من خبرات ومهارات لإيجاد التناغم بين تلك الخامة مع خامة أخرى، وصولاً إلى تحقيق القيم الجمالية والتشكيلية للعمل الفني الجداري.
Art is one of the most significant practical fields that inspires artists to create extraordinary artworks through the use of abundance natural and manmade materials that exist around them. The environment, not only has a strong effect on inspiring the artist creative thinking, it can also enhance the imagination and skills to help analyze many technical relations in nature. Therefore, enriching artworks and provides artists with many choices to creatively utilize the nature's resources and form it into artwork. However, there are still some natural materials around us that have not been researched thus implementing them in artwork is yet to be looked into. Juncus plant, is one of the natural materials that can be used in artworks in its raw form to render outstanding results. Its technical richness in texture and color, as well as its ability to be synthesized appropriately with other materials and achieve harmony through technical techniques. Juncus plant and Fabrics, are fit together, available and easy to find and most of all, they are harmonically synthesized in artwork. The combination actually gives great characteristics such as voluntarism, flexibility and technical values that contribute to providing non-typical artistic forms. Technical values in artworks can help to achieve a number of ideas and solutions to support mural art designs. Mural art is considered to be one of the most important artistic expressions, normally influenced by the environment, culture and civilization in a positive way and it is even more interesting when represented creatively using the natural resources.
