المستخلص: يصبو هذا العمل إلى معاينة مفهوم الاستغراب من الجانب التاريخي واللغوي، ويقوم بتتبع تطور دلالاته ضمن التغيرات السياسية والاجتماعية والجيوسياسية التي عرفها العالم العربي، كما يتساءل عن علاقته بالثنائية الجدلية: "شرق/ غرب" ومسألة "الأنا والآخر". يقوم هذا البحث على المنهج السوسيو تاريخي الذي يعتمد سرد الأحداث ضمن التفاعلات المختلفة، أما من حيث الخطة، فقد تم تقسيمه إلى ثلاثة محاور متباينة: توضيح الدلالات اللغوية والاصطلاحية؛ تطور المفهوم في ظل التأثيرات المختلفة؛ تسليط الضوء عن العلاقة الجدلية القائمة بين "الأنا والآخر" التي نتجت من جراء التفاعلات التاريخية بين الغرب والشرق. وقد توصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج أبرزها أنه يوجد عدة دلالات ومعان لهذا المفهوم وأنه يكتنفه اضطراب في المعنى نتج عن ضغط المؤثرات المختلفة الداخلية في المجتمع العربي وخارجه، وأكد أيضا على الصلة التاريخية والأبستمولوجيا الموجودة بين التغريب كمشروع ومثل عصر الأنوار، كما أشار إلى استمرارية هذا المشروع من خلال مفاهيم مثل العولمة والكونية.

This study examines the concept of «‘istighrâb» through its historical and lexicographic anchoring. It examines its evolution through political, social and geopolitical changes in the Arab world. While questioning its relationship with the dialectical dichotomy "East/West" and the question of "the I'' and the other." Our approach is resolutely socio-historical and lexicographical. To support our problem, we opted for a division of the subject into three distinct parts, including an introduction and a conclusion: - identification and definition of the concept of «‘istighrâb»; the impact of historical changes, political, cultural on the formation of meaning; emphasizes the dialectical relationship between ''the I'' and ''the other'' that has resulted from the historical interactions between the dominant West and the conquered East. This study highlights the polysemic character of the concept, its instability. While emphasizing its effects and impact in determining the “I” and “the other”. He also highlighted the historical and epistemological link between «'istighrâb» as a project and the Enlightenment ideals, and pointed to the continuity of this project through concepts such as globalization, universalism, etc. The authenticity of this research lies in its holistic approach, which takes into account different factors and interactions: historical, political, social and ideological that have contributed to the birth and development of «‘istighrâb».
