المستخلص: يشهد العالم الآن اهتماما متزايد بقضايا البيئة والتنمية المستدامة، نظرا للتحديات البيئية والاقتصادية التي ألقت بظلالها على مختلف القطاعات في هذا العصر وخاصا على قطاع العمارة، والعمارة بشكل عام تتكون من عناصر معمارية بالإضافة إلى بعض المفردات التكميلية التي تقوم بدور جمالي ووظيفي في الفراغ المعماري لتعطي الإحساس بالراحة والجمال وتكون مترابطة مع بعضها البعض معماريا، وقد وجد أن كلا من المادة أو الخامة تمثل جوهر العملية الإبداعية والخلق المعماري حيث يستخدمها المصمم لتنفيذ أفكاره وتجسيدها، وذلك عن طريق التعامل مع خصائصها ومواصفاتها للوصول إلى جمالياتها التي تساعده في ابتكار صياغات فنية جديدة. يعد الزجاج من المواد التي تتميز بتعدد تقنياته ذات الإمكانيات التشكيلية المتنوعة التي تحفز المصمم على التخيل والابتكار، حيث تترك التقنية أثرا عميقا على الفكر المعماري الذي يتأثر بما حوله من متغيرات سواء كانت ثقافية، دينية، وبيئية، لذلك يسعى البحث إلى توظيف تقنيات الزجاج المختلفة مثل تقنية (الزجاج المعشق بالرصاص، الموزاييك، النحت الزجاجي) لخدمة العمارة الخارجية وأغراضها، وذلك من خلال دمج الزجاج مع الأخشاب الطبيعية في هيئتها الأولية وتطويع الخامة لخدمة العملية الإبداعية وانعكاس ذلك على العمارة المعاصرة، وتمثلت مشكلة البحث في التساؤل هل يمكن الاستفادة من تقنيات الزجاج المختلفة في إنتاج عناصر معمارية أو تكميلية بصياغات تشكيلية جديدة صالحة للحدائق العامة؟ كما يهدف البحث إلى توظيف الخامات البيئية المتمثلة في الأخشاب الطبيعية لتحقيق الاستدامة البيئية بجانب القيمة الجمالية وذلك من خلال تمازج مادة الخشب الطبيعية والمتجددة مع مادة الزجاج الصديقة للبيئة لتحقيق إدارة أفضل للثروات الطبيعية والتقليل من حجم الأضرار المؤثرة على البيئة، كما جاءت أهمية البحث بتقديم أفكار تصميمية معاصرة تعتمد على استخدام الزجاج وتقنياته المختلفة كمحدد تصميمي أساسي في تكوينها، ودمجه مع الأخشاب الطبيعية بطريقة تتناسب مع الحدائق العامة، لمعرفة كيفية الوصول إلى تحقيق مفهوم الاستدامة من خلال التوظيف الأمثل لهذه المواد، ويفترض البحث أن تعزيز الفهم المعماري للمصمم من خلال إدراكه الكامل للتقنيات المتعددة للزجاج ودمجها مع الخامات والمواد المختلفة تمكن المصمم من وضع مقترحات تصميمية للعناصر المعمارية أو التكميلية تتناسب مع الحدائق العامة وتحقق مفهوم الاستدامة. لذلك سعى البحث لتفعيل الجانب التطبيقي مع طلاب الفرقة الثانية لقسم الزجاج بكلية الفنون التطبيقية بجامعة حلوان متضمنا دمج الزجاج مع الخشب الطبيعي وتوضيح التقنية بكل ما تحمله من خامات وتراكيب وإجراءات التنفيذ للوصول للشكل النهائي.

The world is now witnessing an increasing interest in environmental and sustainable development issues, given the environmental and economic challenges that have cast a shadow on various sectors in this era, especially on the architecture sector, and architecture in general consists of architectural elements in addition to some complementary elements that play an aesthetic and functional role in the architectural space to give a sense comfort and beauty and are interconnected with each other architecturally, It was found that both the material or the material represents the essence of the creative process and the architectural creation, as the designer uses it to implement and embody his ideas, by dealing with its characteristics and specifications to reach its aesthetics that help him in creating new artistic formulations. Glass is one of the materials that are characterized by the multiplicity of its techniques with various artistic capabilities that motivate the designer to imagine and innovate, as the technology leaves a deep impact on the architectural thought that is affected by the variables around it, whether cultural, religious, and environmental, so the research seeks to employ different glass techniques such as Technique (lead stained glass, mosaic, glass sculpture) to serve the external architecture and its purposes, by merging glass with natural wood in its initial form and adapting the material to serve the creative process and its reflection on contemporary architecture, The problem of the research came: Is it possible to take advantage of different glass techniques in producing architectural or complementary elements with new artistic formulations suitable for public gardens? The research also aims to employ the environmental raw materials represented in natural wood to achieve environmental sustainability in addition to the aesthetic value, through mixing the natural and renewable wood material with the environmentally friendly glass material to achieve better management of natural resources and reduce the amount of harm affecting the environment. The importance of the research also came by presenting contemporary design ideas based on the use of glass and its various techniques as a basic design determinant in its composition, and integrating it with natural wood in a way that suits public gardens, to know how to achieve the concept of sustainability through the optimal use of these materials. The research assumes that enhancing the designer’s architectural understanding through his full awareness of the multiple techniques of glass and its integration with different materials and materials enables the designer to develop design proposals for architectural or complementary elements that fit with public parks and achieve the concept of sustainability. Therefore, the research sought to activate the applied aspect with the students of the second year of the Glass Department at the Faculty of Applied Arts at Helwan University including integrating glass with natural wood and clarifying the technology with all its materials, compositions and implementation procedures to reach the final form.
