المستخلص: يفترض بحثنا هذا أن الفكر الحديث اعتمد على مقولتين أساسيتين؛ ونعنى بهما المعقول واللامعقول، في سعيه الدائب لبلوغ الحقيقة، بحيث يمثل كل منهما نسقا فكريا تبنى على معطياته نظرية أو أكثر في الفهم والوعي، ونرى أن النقد الأدبي بمفهومه الحديث قد ترعرع ونما بين دفتي هاتين المقولتين؛ الأمر الذي يمكن أن يكون سببا رئيسا في محاولتنا رصد أثر كل منهما فيه. ويستقرئ بحثنا أهم المنعطفات الفكرية الحديثة ويشخص أثرها المباشر وغير المباشر في النقد الأدبي عموما، إذ تتطلب النظرية النقدية كشف الحقول الفكرية التي تستند إليها، لأنها تعين دارس الأدب وناقده على استكشاف ما وراء النقد من حقائق ينبغي الاستنارة بها قبل الشروع بالقراءة والتحليل، ومن هنا حاولنا، اقتفاء المسار الفكري لأبرز تلك التحولات من حيث ارتباطها بالعقل أو انزياحها عنه، مع كشف النقطة التي تلتقي فيها تلك الأفكار مع النقد الأدبي بإيضاح طبيعة أثرها فيه؛ ولذلك وضعنا جزءا تمهيديا للأرضية الفكرية الأولى لتلك المعطيات، ثم أردفنا بجزء ثان قسمناه على فرعيات تتضمن مراتب الوعي النقدي وتبين أثر المعقول واللامعقول في كل منها.

The present paper supposes that modern thought relied on these two basic categories; namely the reasonable and the unreasonable, in its constant search for the truth, so that each of them represents an intellectual system based on one or more theoretical data in understanding and criticism, according to what this or that system allows. We see that literary criticism in its modern sense has nurtured and grown between these two categories; which could be a major reason why we monitor the impact of each of them on it. Our research explores the most important of these intellectual turns and diagnoses their direct and indirect impact on literary criticism in general, as critical theory requires revealing the intellectual fields on which it is based, because it helps the student and critic of literature to explore the facts behind criticism that should be enlightened before starting to read and analyze. Hence, we tried to trace the intellectual path of the most prominent transformations that we referred to, while revealing the point at which these ideas meet with literary criticism by clarifying the nature of their impact on it; Therefore, we put an introductory part to the first intellectual ground for these data, then we supplemented with a second part, which we divided into subsections that include levels of critical awareness and the impact of the reasonable and the unreasonable in each of them.
