المستخلص: بعد أن خرجت أوروبا من عصر الظلمات إلى عصر الأنوار، واكتشاف الحداثة، أصبح الفكر الغربي لا يؤمن إلا بالعقل والعلم، ومما زاده إيمانا ذلك التطور الذي عرفته الحضارة الغربية بعد أن تخلصت من كل أشكال التفكير، وانطلقت في نهضة علمية تبتعها ثورة صناعية، آمنت بقدرة الإنسان على التفكير والإبداع وبالتالي السيطرة، وحاولت الحداثة أن تقود الإنسان إلى السعادة، لكن صدمة الحداثة دفع الإنسان المعاصر إلى أن يعيد التفكير في الحداثة كمشروع قادته إلى التقدم، لكن بالمقابل هناك تراجع في منظومة القيم الإنسانية، ولهذا فالهدف من البحث هو تبيان كيف شمل تأثير الحداثة والعولمة كل الميادين بما فيها الحياة الاجتماعية وظواهرها، فتغيرت الحياة، وتغيرت المفاهيم التي كان ينظر إليها الإنسان من زاوية واحدة فأصبحت كل الظواهر والمفاهيم سائلة لا صلبة بلغة الفيلسوف البولندي زيجمونت باومان وهذا نتيجة تحولات الحداثة.
