المستخلص: We propose, in this article, to study the feminine space in “Chanson douce” by Leila SLIMANI as a phenomenon that produces a certain vision of the author's world. In this text, the author allows herself to expose Parisian society by revealing its vices and scourges. Indeed, by analysing the spatial functioning in this novel, we demonstrate how the writer highlights the rejection of the Other by proposing female characters who embody the values and reality of a social environment represented by the evocation of places. Moreover, we demonstrate the issues of ideological discourse and social representations that the author uses to challenge social impositions and the refusal of foreigners. Thus, this will allow us to show how the Other is despised and how he is rejected because of his cultural, racial and religious diversity.

Nous nous proposons, dans cet article, d'étudier l'espace féminin dans Chanson douce de Leila SLIMANI en tant que phénomène producteur d'une certaine vision du monde de l'auteure. Dans ce texte, l'auteure se permet de dénuder la société parisienne en dévoilant ses vices et ses fléaux. En analysant le fonctionnement spatial dans ce roman, nous démontrons comment l'écrivaine met en exergue le rejet de l'Autre en proposant des personnages féminins qui incarnent les valeurs et la réalité d'un milieu social représenté par l'évocation des lieux. Nous démontrons également les enjeux du discours idéologique et des représentations sociales dont l'auteure se sert pour se contester contre les impositions sociales et le refus des étrangers. Ainsi, Cela nous permettra de montrer comment l'Autre est méprisé et comment il est rejeté à cause de sa diversité culturelle, raciale et religieuse.
