المستخلص: The object of this paper concerns the peculiarities of the performances of the SME manufacturers of the wilaya of Oran. Two peculiarities are analyzed. On one side, what is that SME manufacturers have a particular performance (we tend to support in Algeria that the industry in a general way is less profitable than commercial sector), on the other hand, what is what the membership in a wilaya as Oran gives them another peculiarity. The presentation of the results of a survey concerning 64 SME manufacturers allows accentuating the peculiarity of this type of companies.

L’objet de ce papier porte sur les particularités des performances des PME industrielles de la wilaya d’Oran. Deux particularités sont analysées. D’un côté, est ce que ces entreprises ont une performance particulière (on a tendance à soutenir en Algérie que l’industrie d’une manière générale est moins rentable que secteur commercial), d’un autre côté, est ce que l’appartenance à une wilaya comme Oran leur donne une autre particularité. La présentation des résultats d’une enquête portant sur un groupe de PME industrielles permet de mettre en relief la particularité de ce type d’entreprises.
