"تناولت الورقة معالجة صحيفة (الجريدة) لقضايا النزاعات ونشر ثقافة السلام، وبما أن الإعلام يلعب أدوارا مهمة في حياة المجتمعات والدول النامية فإن مشكلة هذا البحث ترتبط بعلاقة الصحافة السودانية بقضايا النزاعات وثقافة السلام، وإلى أي مدى عالجت صحيفة الجريدة هذه القضايا. وتهدف الورقة إلى تسليط الضوء على الكيفية التي عالجت بها صحيفة الجريدة مشكلة النزاعات في السودان والتعريف بثقافة السلام وموقعها فيما تنشره الصحف في السودان ومعرفة اتجاهات العينة التي خضعت للدراسة، استخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي والتحليلي وعبره تم تحديد مفاهيم وإطار الدراسة ومجتمع البحث ونوع البيانات، كما استخدم أداة تحليل المضمون للوصول للبيانات الخاصة بموضوع الدراسة، بالإضافة إلى معامل اللاتوزان كمعيار لقياس اتجاه الصحيفة. توصلت الدراسة لمجموعة من النتائج من أهمها: أن الأخبار المنشورة عن قضايا النزاعات وثقافة السلام كانت الأعلى نسبة عن بقية الموضوعات وجاءت الموضوعات الإيجابية في المرتبة الأولى والموضوعات السياسية أعلى الموضوعات نشرا متفوقة على الموضوعات العسكرية والثقافية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية، خرجت الدراسة بعدة توصيات منها: عمل المسابقات والجوائز الصحفية لأكثر الصحف اهتماما بالتعايش السلمي وإدارة التنوع وثقافة السلام، ومن التوصيات استصحاب المراسلين والصحفيين في كل الجولات والحوارات والمباحثات الخاصة بقضايا السلام، توصي الدراسة بتدريب بعض الصحفيين ليكونوا متخصصين في قضايا النزاعات وثقافة السلام وأعراف وقيم المجتمعات."
"The paper deals with Aljarida newspaper heal conflict resolution and peace building and culture of peace. Since the media play an important role in societies in the developing countries, the problem of this research deals with the press as an essential means of the media and the relationship of the press with conflicts and a culture of peace and being in prevalence with the Sudanese reality and the trends taken by the press towards disputes in of a culture. The paper raises the main question that is to what extent Aljarida newspaper press handling conflict issues and spread the culture of peace also whether the press support these issues or not or it is a neutral issues. This research aims to shed light on how the political press copes with these issues, and that represented in Al-Saiha and Al-Jarida newspaper, dealing with the problem of conflict issues in Sudan and revealing the role of the press in war and peace. The research uses the descriptive methodology as a way of dealing with the topic, and through that process the concepts and framework of the study, the research community, the type of data, the analytical approach, and the content analysis tool was used to access the data on the subject of the study, analyze and compare it. The research reached a set of results, the most important of which are: The news published about disputes and the culture of peace issues was the highest in relation to the rest of the topics. The distinctive and positive topics about disputes and the culture of peace came in the first place. The study comes out with several recommendations, including: setting competitions and journalistic awards for most newspapers interested in peaceful coexistence and managing diversity and a culture of peace. The study recommends training some journalists to be specialist in conflict issues, culture of peace, norms and values of societies."
