المستخلص: ارتبطت قضية التراث والتجديد بمحاولة المثقف العربي تحديد عوامل النهضة والتقدم، وكان حسن حنفي ممن نذر نفسه لهذه القضية، بل إن اسمه ارتبط بهذا المشروع، وقد اعتمد مشروعه في تجديد التراث على ثلاث جبهات: أولا: الموقف من التراث القديم، ثانيا: الموقف من التراث الغربي، ثالثا: نظرية التفسير. وقد حاول هذا البحث الوقوف على أبعاد مشروع حسن حنفي، وبيان آلياته في تجديد التراث، ومعرفة إيجابياته وسلبياته، والمساهمة في وضع رؤية لتجديد التراث. وقد استخدمت في هذا البحث المنهج الوصفي، مشفوعا بالمنهج التحليلي، وذيلت بالمنهج النقدي، وقد خرج هذا البحث بعدة نتائج أهمها: أن مشروع التراث والتجديد عند حسن حنفي مشروعا تجزيئيا تفتيتيا، وليس مشروعا متكاملا، ثم هو مشروعا تقويضيا هدميا وليس مشروعا تجديديا بالمعنى الصحيح، وقد ظهر من هذا البحث تعالى الأنا بشكل مبالغ فيه عند حسن حنفي، الأمر الذي جعله يقوض جميع المحاولات السابقة عليه، ليس في التراث الإسلامي وحسب، وإنما في التراث الغربي أيضا. وقد أوصى البحث بضرورة إحياء فريضة الاجتهاد الغائبة بقواعدها المقررة عند الأصوليين، مع ضرورة تتضافر ثلة من علماء الأمة، من تخصصات مختلفة، لإعطاء رؤية متكاملة لتجديد التراث الإسلامي.

The issue of heritage and renewal was linked to the attempt of the Arab intellectual to determine the factors of renaissance and progress, Hassan Hanafi was one of those who devoted himself to this cause, Rather, his name is associated with this project, His project was based on the renewal of heritage on three fronts: First: the attitude towards the ancient heritage, Second: the position on the Western heritage, Third: the theory of interpretation. This research attempted to identify the dimensions of Hassan Hanafi's project, And a statement of its mechanisms in heritage renewal, Knowing its pros and cons, and contributing to the development of a vision for heritage renewal. In this research, the descriptive method was used, accompanied by the analytical method, and it was followed by the critical approach. This research has produced several results, the most important of which are: That the heritage and renewal project at Hassan Hanafi is a fragmentation project, not an integrated project, Then it is a subversive project and not a regenerative project in the correct sense, From this research, the exalted ego appeared in an exaggerated manner by Hassan Hanafi, Which made him undermine all previous attempts, not only in the Islamic heritage, but also in the Western heritage as well. The research recommended the necessity of reviving the duty of ijtihad with its rules established by the fundamentalists, With the need for a group of scholars of the Ummah, from different disciplines, to collaborate to give an integrated vision for the renewal of the Islamic heritage.
