المستخلص: Title of the Research: The Trends of the Academic Elite towards the news published about the new Corona mutant “Omicron” on social media. Objective: The study aims to measure the to know the Attitudes of the academic elite towards the news published about the new Corona mutant “Omicron” on social media the positive or negative news on (youtube) sites. Method: The data collection tools, on which the study in question relied, are specified in the questionnaire form, the study was applied to a deliberate sample of 150 individuals from the academic elite in various Egyptian and Arab universities, including faculty members (teacher - assistant professor - professor) in media faculties and various disciplines and other fields, and through the electronic form distributed through "Messenger", in order to know On the academic elite's attitudes towards the news published for the new corona mutant "Omicron". On social media (Youtube) Results the extent to which there is a statistically significant correlation between the intensity of respondents' exposure to the news that is published for the new Corona mutant "Omicron" on the social networking site.
