|a تمتع قضاة مصر القديمة بمكانة متميزة في المجتمع المصري، فقد منحهم المشرع الكثير من الامتيازات لإقامة العدل والعمل على تحقيقه، بيد أن النصوص التاريخية سجلت العديد من المخالفات القضائية التي ارتكبت من بعض القضاة، وقد تنوعت تلك المخالفات بين السرقة والرشوة والزنا وغير ذلك من المخالفات، والتي ارتبط حدوثها بفترات ضعف مصر وملوكها، وعلى الرغم من مكانة القضاة المميزة إلا أن المخالفين منهم لاقوا جزاء فعلتهم.
|b The judges of ancient Egypt enjoyed a distinguished position in the Egyptian society. The legislator granted them many privileges to administer justice and work to achieve it. However, historical texts recorded many judicial violations committed by some judges, and these violations varied between theft, bribery, adultery and other violations. The occurrence of which has long been associated with periods of weakness in Egypt and its kings, and despite the distinguished position of judges, the violators of them received the penalty for their actions.
