المستخلص: تناول هذا البحث دراسة ثلاث عشرة آية من القرآن الكريم التي خاطبت أهل الكتاب خطاب تودد واستعطاف وامتنان واحتجاج حيث وجدنا أن الله تبارك وتعالى يناديهم بصفة أهل الكتاب ويمتن عليهم بالعلم الذي عندهم ويحتج عليهم بذلك ليلزمهم بواجب قبول الحق واتباع ملة محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم حيث إنه لم يتبق حجة يحتجون بها على كفرهم به صلى الله عليه وسلم وهذا هو الأسلوب الذي حاول البحث إظهاره من خلال مباحثه الثلاثة وتحليله لنصوص علماء التفسير قديما وحديثا. فجاء المبحث الأول بعنوان: دعوة أهل الكتاب للدخول في الإسلام حيث جاءت آيات متعددة في حث النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم والمسلمين على دعوة أهل الكتاب إلى الإسلام فسارع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لدعوة رؤساء أهل الكتاب إلى الدخول في الإسلام بالاتصال الفردي وفي مدارسهم في المدينة المنورة حيث اليهود وأحبارهم، وأرسل الرسل وكتب الكتب. وكان المبحث الثاني بعنوان: تذكير أهل الكتاب بالعلم الذي عندهم من الله تعالى، فيذكر الله تعالى أهل الكتاب بالعلم الذي عندهم من الله تعالى، فهم يعرفون صدق النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم والبشارات والإشارات الدالة على دعوته ونبوته. والمبحث الثالث بعنوان: نهي القرآن الكريم لأهل الكتاب عن الغلو في الدين حيث وقع الغلو من أهل الكتاب عندما وصفوا بعض الأنبياء بصفات الألوهية أو بوصف النبي بأنه ابن الله كما قالت اليهود عزير ابن الله وقالت النصارى المسيح ابن الله، كما اتخذوا الأحبار والرهبان أربابا من دون الله، ووصفوا الله بصفات بشرية، تعالى الله عما يقولون علوا كبيرا. وقد ختم البحث بطائفة من أهم النتائج التي توصل إليها متلوة بثبت المصادر والمراجع التي اتكأ عليها في استقصاء المادة ومتابعتها والتدليل عليها.

This accounttackles thirteen Qur’anic verses addressing the People of the Book in a way of courtship, sympathy, gratitude and protest. Allah, Blessed and Exalted, calls them as the People of the Book and grows on them with the knowledge that they have and protests them to do so to compel them to have the duty to accept the truth and follow the religion of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. There is no excuse left to protest against their disbelief and this is the method that the research attempted to show through out three sections and the analysis of the texts of exegesis scholars in the past and present. The first section entitled: Inviting the People of the Book to embrace Islam.As several verses revealed to urge the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and Muslims to invite the People of the Book to Islam, so the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, hurried to invite the leaders of the People of the Book to embrace Islam individually and in their schools in Medina where the Jews and their rabbis are. In addition, He sent messengers and wrote them books. The second section entitled: Reminding the People of the Book with the knowledge they Have from God, the Almighty. As they know the truth of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, the gestures and signs indicating His message and prophethood. The third section entitled: The Qur’an forbade to the People of the Book of Excessiveness in Religion. Excessiveness took place from the People of the Book when they described some of their prophets with the attributes of divinity or by describing the Prophet as the Son of God, as the Jews said, A’zaeer is the son of God, and the Christians said Christ is the Son of God. As they also worshipped their rabbis and mons as if they gods. Moreover, they described God with human attributes that God the Almighty is far away from what they say. The paper concluded with a set of findings obtained, followed by a list of resources and references based on investigating that material, and demonstrating it.
