|b Anti-dumping measures and the vagaries of the world steel market: The Widespread exception? Case of Morocco-Turkey affair before the DSP (the Dispute Settlement Body) Summary: Following the spread of antidumping measures striking foreign steel products, chain appeals to the Dispute Settlement Body have multiplied. Consequently, these protective measures have shifted from an exceptional principle to a "widespread" attitude due to the fact that the unbalanced world steel market weighed heavily on the states trade policies. The recent Morocco - Turkey case brought before the Dispute Settlement Organ illustrates the rise of these protective measures and comforts the perpetrators states positions thanks to their contributions as third parties member states.
|d Suite aux mesures antidumping qui se répandent et frappent les produits étrangers d’acier, les recours en chaîne se multiplient devant l’organe de règlement des différends. En conséquence, ces mesures protectrices passent d’un principe exceptionnel à une attitude « généralisée », vu que le marché mondial déséquilibré de l’acier a fortement pesé sur les politiques commerciales des États(I). La récente affaire Maroc-Turquie, introduite devant le groupe spécial, illustre la montée de ces mesures protectrices et réconforte les positions des États qui en sont les auteurs grâce, entre autres, à l’apport des membres tierces des groupes spéciaux(II).
