The current research (the current study) aims to introduce the most important sources of information documented in the construction of the Prophet’s Mosque to contribute to accessing this information. Therefore, the researcher divided his research into two main parts: The first section includes sources of the building information of the Mosque from the time of the Prophet (Peace be upon him), to its expansions during the reign of The Guided Caliphs, then its construction during the Umayyad era, and finally its expansions and reforms in the Abbasid era until the devastating fire incident in 654 AH. In the second section, the researcher dealt with the sources of information about the Mosque construction after the fire and the repairs that were carried out by the Mamelukes Sultans, its restoring and improving until the second fire in 686 AH, and then its rebuilding as best as possible by the Mamluki Sultan Al Ashraf Qaytbay. The researcher used the historical inductive approach in collecting and classifying information and sources from the books of the Sunnah and the books of the Prophet’s Biography, in addition to the specialized history books for Medina and the general history books as well Besides, the researcher pointed to the books of journeys and books of countries and literature.
