المستخلص: شهدت الآونة الأخيرة اهتمام الدراسات المتخصصة في الجغرافيا الاقتصادية عامة وجغرافية الصناعة خاصة بدراسة المواقع الصناعية من حيث المركب النوعي للأنشطة الصناعية، وكذلك تقييم خدمات البنية الأساسية، وإبراز التحديات والمعوقات التي تواجه الإنتاج الصناعي بتلك المناطق، وتركز الدراسة الحالية على دراسة البناء الصناعي لمنطقة الصفا الصناعية من خلال تحديد تأثير موقعها في جذب بعض القطاعات الصناعية، وإبراز وزنها النسبي من حيث أعداد المنشآت الصناعية، والأيدي العاملة، ورؤوس الأموال بالنسبة لباقي المناطق الصناعية في المحافظة، بالإضافة إلى دراسة تطور أعداد المنشآت الصناعية، والأيدي العاملة، ورؤوس الأموال، وكذلك دراسة أنماط استخدام الأراضي، يضاف إلى ذلك دراسة التركيب النوعي للأنشطة الصناعية على مستوى القطاعات، وعلى مستوى الهياكل الصناعية داخل كل قطاع، والتركيز على بعض التحليلات الكمية للمنشآت الصناعية، بالإضافة إلى تحديد المشكلات التي تواجه الأنشطة الصناعية بمنطقة الدراسة. ومن أبرز النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة زيادة الأهمية النسبية لمنطقة الدراسة مقارنة بالمناطق الصناعية في المحافظة، حيث سجلت الترتيب الأول من حيث أعداد المنشآت الصناعية التي تم تنفيذها، وكذلك من حيث أعداد المنشآت الصناعية التي بدأت الإنتاج فعليا، كما حققت المكانة الأولى من حيث حجم العمالة الكلية التي تستوعبها، بينما جاءت في الترتيب الثاني بعد منطقة عرب العوامر من حيث حجم رؤوس الأموال؛ ويؤكد ذلك على أهمية منطقة الدراسة في الإنتاج الصناعي بالمحافظة. تتميز منطقة الدراسة بالتنوع الصناعي إذ تضم سبعة قطاعات صناعية متباينة، تضم بداخلها عددا من الهياكل الصناعية التي تتخصص في إنتاج كثير من السلع التي تتميز بزيادة الطلب عليها في الأسواق المحلية، ولكن لازالت قدرتها محدودة على غزو الأسواق الخارجية.

Recently, specialized studies in economic geography in general and industry geography, in particular, have witnessed interest in studying industrial sites in terms of the qualitative structure of industrial activities, as well as evaluating infrastructure services. The study highlights the challenges and obstacles that face Alsafa industrial zone in those areas. It determines the impact of the location in attracting some industrial sectors, and examining their relative weight in terms of the number of industrial establishments, labor, and capitals in relation to the rest of the industrial areas in the governorate. In addition, it studies the development of the number of industrial establishments, labor, capitals and land use patterns. Moreover, it investigates the qualitative structure of industrial activities at the level of sectors, and at the level of industrial structures within each sector, as well as focusing on some quantitative analysis of industrial facilities. It also seeks to identify the problems that face industrial activities in the study area. Among the most prominent findings of the study is the increase of importance of the study area compared to the industrial areas in the governorate as is it ranked the first in terms of number of industrial establishments that actually started production. It achieved the first position in terms of the volume of the total employment, while it came in second place after the Arab Al-Awamer region in terms of the volume of capital. This confirms the importance of the study area in the industrial production of the governorate. The study area is characterized by industrial diversity, as it includes seven different industrial sectors, which include within them a number of industrial structures specialized in the production of many commodities that are increasingly demanded in the local markets, but their ability to conquer foreign markets is still limited.
