المستخلص: This research paper focus and revolve around the trends of global central banks in managing their monetary policies, led by the European Central Bank and the Federal Reserve of the United States, and the most significant similarities and differences between them in terms of the system and tools used to implement monetary policy for both, especially in times of crisis, by addressing the global financial crisis of 2008. We adopted descriptive-analytical approach, and the one discovered that the Reserve Bank has a high and quick reaction in its monetary policy tools that it uses to address economic recovery, in contrast to the European Central Bank, which has a delayed response to monetary tools.
