The significant decline in mortality in Algeria, thus generating a gain in life expectancy and recommending, to this end, a profound transformation in the operating systems and future decisions relating to the population and the allocation of resources, leads to systematically ask the question of its nature and determining factors. As such, this article, which is part of an analytical approach, aims to demonstrate, on the basis of the explanatory theory of the dynamics of mortality (Riley 2001), that the improvement of the life expectancy of the algerian population at over time is a result of the improvement of health and socioeconomic factors. Le recul notable de mortalité en Algérie, engendrant ainsi un gain en matière d’espérance de vie et recommandant, à ce effet, une profonde transformation dans les systèmes de fonctionnement et les décisions futures portant sur la population et l’allocation des ressources, conduit à poser systématiquement la question de sa nature et ses facteurs déterminants. A ce titre, cet article, qui s’inscrit dans une approche analytique, vise à démonter, sur la base la théorie explicative de la dynamique de mortalité (Riley 2001), que l’amélioration de la durée de vie de la population algérienne au fil du temps est un résultat d’amélioration des facteurs sanitaires et socioéconomiques. |
