المستخلص: لقد يسر الكريم في هذا البحث دراسة أحد الأحاديث التي نسبت لرسول الله، وهو الحديث المتعلق بالضب وشهادته للرسول بالرسالة، وذلك بتخريجه ودراسة إسناده وبيان درجته من حيث الصحة والضعف والحكم على إسناده للتثبت من نسبته لرسول الله من عدمه، وبيان بعض الأحكام المتعلقة بالضب. ولا شك أن لانتشار الأحاديث المكذوبة ونسبتها لرسول الله خطورة كبيرة وآثار سيئة عند من اعتقد صحتها وعمل بها، لما يترتب على ذلك من الابتداع في الدين، ورد صحيح السنة تمسكا بما اعتقد صحته وهو موضوع مكذوب على رسول الله. بالإضافة لخطورة الكذب على الرسول فهو سبب لدخول النار يقول: «من كذب علي فليتبوأ مقعده من النار". وقد سلكت الدراسة المنهج الاستقرائي التحليلي الاستنباطي. وكان من نتائجها: أنه لم يثبت كلام الضب لرسول الله وشهادته له بالرسالة، فالحديث موضوع لا تصح نسبته للرسول ولا الاستدلال أو الاستشهاد به. وإسناده شديد الضعف، مداره على محمد بن علي بن الوليد السلمي وهو منكر الحديث. يجوز أكل لحم الضب، حيث أكل بحضرة النبي وعلى مائدته وأقر الصحابة على ذلك، مع أنه لم يأكله، ولم يعب على من أكله، وعلل ترك الأكل منه بأنه لم يكن بأرض قومه فنفسه تعافه. وقد أوصت الدراسة: بضرورة دراسة الأحاديث التي يتداولها الناس وبيان صحيحها من سقيمها، وبيان عظم الكذب على الرسول بنقل ما لم يصح ونسبته إليه، والاستفادة من التقنيات الحديثة وتوظيفها للحفاظ على السنة الصحيحة ونشرها بين الناس، والقيام بدراسات علمية تثبت أو تنفي ما يذكره العامة من فوائد لأكل لحم الضب والعلاج بدمه.

In this study, the gracious (Allah) has enabled a review of one of the sayings (hadiths) that was attributed to the Messenger of Allah, and that is the hadith related to the Desert lizard (the long-tailed lizard, the spiny lizard) and its testimony that the Messenger is true. This review investigated studying the hadith’s chain of transmission and stating its degree in terms of validity and weakness, and judging its chain of transmission to verify or disprove its connection with the Messenger of Allah, and clarifying some provisions related to the lizard. Undoubtedly, the spread of false hadiths and attributing them to the Messenger of Allah pose great danger and bad consequences for those who believe in their validity and act upon them, because this entails misleading inventions in religion, with rejection of the true Sunnah because of his mislead believes based on lies about the Messenger of Allah. In addition to the danger of lying about the Messenger, it is a reason for punishment in Hellfire. The prophet says: “Whoever lies about me, let him take his seat in Hell”. The study has followed the inductive analytical deductive method. In conclusion: the words of the lizard to the Messenger of Allah and its testimony to him in the message were not documented and it is a false hadith that should not be attributed to the Messenger of Allah, nor being used as evidence or basis for judgment. It has a very weak chain of transmission, it revolves around Muhammad bin Ali bin Al-Walid Al-Sulami, a dishonest reporter. It is permissible to eat the meat of a lizard, as it was eaten in the presence of the Prophet and at his dinner, and the companions concur with that, although he did not eat it, and did not denounce those who ate it, and he explained that it was not a familiar meal around his home town and that why he distasted it. The study recommended the necessity to study the hadiths that people circulate, and to reveal the authentic from the false ones, and to demonstrate the graveness of lying about the Messenger by reporting false hadith and attributing it to him. Also to take advantage of modern technologies and employ them to preserve the authentic Sunnah and spread it among the people, and to carry out scientific research that verify any benefits of eating lizard meat and the use of its blood as remedy the public believes.
