المستخلص: نالت "الواو والفاء" المقحمتان بين الشرط والجواب اهتمام النحاة واللغويين والمفسرين، واتسعت هوة الخلاف بين البصريين والكوفيين في تحديد الجواب، واحتدمت نقاشاتهم حول دلالاتها، وتشبث كل برأيه ومبرراته ومنهجه في التقعيد والتأصيل، فقبض البصريون على معياريتهم في تحديد الجواب، وعول الكوفيون على وصفيتهم؛ وأسفر هذا الخلاف عن ميراث يستحق النظر، فهرعت إلى خمس آيات قرآنية وأربعة شواهد شعرية لوقوع الواو والفاء في جواب الشرط؛ تفحصتها بالدراسة التحليلية، وعولت على السياق وكل المعطيات التي تفك شفرات النص وتسانينه، كالمقام الداخلي والخارجي، ولا سيما أسباب النزول، فخلطت كل ذلك في بوتقة الموضوعية، وسكبتها على الواوات المنسوجة بين الشرط والجواب أو الواقعة في الجواب نفسه، فاستطعت بفضل الله سبر غور معانيها وبيان مقاصد سوقها، ولكي أصل إلى بغيتي شيدت هيكل العمل من مقدمة وثلاثة مباحث، أولها: "مذاهب النحاة في وقوع الواو والفاء زائدتين في جواب الشرط وأسس كل فريق"، وثانيها: شواهد وقوع الواو والفاء في جواب "لما، وحتى إذا" (عرض ونقد وتحليل)، وثالثها: "تعدد دلالة الواو والفاء واستعمالاتهما"، ثم اصطفيت عددا من النتائج، وختمته بثبت المراجع.

The waw has gained the attention of grammarians and commentators; in both the wow being in the answer to the condition or if the wow is inserted in a sentence that mediates the condition and the answer. The Basrians and the Kufians enclosed the waw in their fierce discussions and rivalry. Each group adhered to directing the waw with its method of confining and rooting, in wihich the Basrians seized their standard in determining the answer, and they assumed it hypothetically. While the Kufians relied on the descriptive approach. Both teams strived hard, but they left us with some bits and pieces that deserve to be further research. Our research methodology rushed to five Qur’anic verses and four poetic evidences that we examined through an analytical study. The study has relied on the context and all its keys to decryptall encryptions of a text, such keys are the internal and external Maqams. The substantive assessment between the condition and the answer is traced within the same answer. This was the drive towards the meaning and the purposes of the wow and the elicitedevidence is narrated through the structure of our study. The study has investigated three research problems, the first of which is the doctrines of grammarians regarding the occurrence of the Waw and the Faaahead of the answer to the condition and the foundations of each team; i.e. the Basrians and the Kufians. The second of which is the evidence of the fall of Waw and Faa in the answer to “what”, and “even when” among the Basrians and the Kufians; i.e. the present, criticism and analysis. The Third of which is variations of Waw and Faa and their uses. They were deliberated based on a number of poetic evidences and relativity considerations; their outcomes were thoroughly examined and critically studied in reference to related work.
