يتضح لنا من العرض السابق أن اليابان في علاقتها بالعولمة لم تكن متلقى سلبى لما يدور في العالم من تغيرات بسبب العولمة بل كانت ولاتزال في وضع الفاعل المؤثر المشارك في صنع العولمة كما هو الحال بالنسبة للتكنولوجيا والتجارة وإلى حد ما في المجال السياسي فقد نادت بما تنادى به الدول الغربية في ظل العولمة من ديمقراطية واحترام لحقوق الإنسان فقد كان لها نفس المطالب بل ربطت مساعداتها الخارجية بنفس الشروط، وتضيف إليها بعض الشروط البيئية وعلى الجانب الثقافي حافظت على الموروث الثقافي بما له من خصوصية متمثل في الترابط العائلي والعمل بروح الفريق بالإضافة إلى اللغة والعادات والتقاليد... الخ كما يمكنها أيضا أن تشارك في نشر الثقافة اليابانية بما لها من إمكانات تكنولوجية فالعولمة مثلما خلقت تحديات فأنها أوجدت فرصا أمام الثقافة اليابانية فالتطورات التكنولوجية لا يقتصر استخدامها على الدول الغربية وإنما يمكن لليابان أن تفعل نفس الشيء في ظل وضعها الاقتصادي المتميز كما أن السعي إلى إيجاد قيم ثقافية مشتركة بين الشعوب رغم أنها بالأساس قيم الثقافة الغربية لذلك واجه منظري العولمة ردود فعل غاضبة من اليابان وكثير من الدول الأسيوية وهم يثيرون قضايا مثل وضع المرأة ونظام الأسرة والزواج وحقوق الإنسان نظرا لما تتميز به اليابان من خصوصية ثقافية

Technological developments are not limited to Western countries, but Japan can do the same in light of its distinguished economic situation. Regarding the cultural aspects of the phenomenon of globalization and what it seeks to find common cultural values among peoples, which are mainly the values of Western culture. Therefore, globalization theorists faced angry reactions from Japan and many Asian countries, and they raised issues such as the status of women, the family system, marriage and human rights due to what distinguishes Japan of cultural peculiarit
