المستخلص: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور نظم المعلومات في تعزيز ذكاء الأعمال في جامعة الملك عبدالعزيز. ولتحقيق أهداف البحث استخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي وجمع البيانات، واستهدف الباحثان في هذه الدراسة القيادات الأكاديمية والإدارية بجامعة الملك عبدالعزيز معتمدا على أداء الاستبانة وتوزيعها الكترونيا، واستجاب لها (92)، وقد صمم الباحثين استبانة الدراسة التي تكونت من ثلاثة محاور رئيسية تشتمل على (38) عبارة تخضع الإجابة عليها لمقياس ليكرت الخماسي. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى العديد من النتائج والتي من أهمها: أن غالبية القيادات المشاركين في الدراسة الحالية يوافقون بشدة على أن نظم المعلومات تعتبر جزءا أساسيا من مقومات نجاح المنظمات الحديثة بمتوسط حسابي (4.71) وانحراف معياري (0.52)، كما أشارت النتائج أيضا بأن هناك مؤشرات إيجابية عديدة تبين واقع تطبيق ذكاء الأعمال في جامعة الملك عبدالعزيز من وجهة نظر القيادات ومن أبرزها أن ذكاء الأعمال يساهم في التركيز على حوكمة الوصول إلى البيانات والحفاظ على صحتها وسلامتها في الجامعة بمتوسط حسابي (4.41) وانحراف معياري (0.77)، وأن ذكاء الأعمال يساهم في تخطيط السياسات التشغيلية والتكتيكية والاستراتيجية في الجامعة بمتوسط حسابي (4.38) وانحراف معياري (0.71)، كما أشارت النتائج أيضا بأن غالبية القيادات المشاركين في الدراسة يوافقون بشدة على أن من أبرز التحديات التي تواجههم هي أن نظم المعلومات وأنظمة ذكاء الأعمال تحتاج إلى تكاليف مادية عالية وموارد بشرية متخصصة بمتوسط حسابي (4.02) وانحراف معياري (0.94)، وأشارت النتائج أيضا بأن غالبية القيادات يوافقون بشدة على أن من أهم الحلول لتطبيق أنظمة ذكاء الأعمال في الجامعة هي الاطلاع على تجارب المنظمات حول تطبيق ذكاء الأعمال بمتوسط حسابي (4.51) وانحراف معياري (0.76)، وكذلك ضرورة إنشاء مركز ذكاء الأعمال في الجامعة لمواكبة التحول الرقمي لرؤية المملكة (2030) بمتوسط حسابي (4.47) وانحراف معياري (0.79). وأوضحت النتائج أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين آراء أفراد العينة من القيادات المشاركين في الدراسة حول دور نظم المعلومات في تعزيز ذكاء الأعمال، وواقع ذكاء الأعمال، والتحديات والحلول المقترحة لتطبيق ذكاء الأعمال في الجامعة تعزى لاختلاف العمر، والمؤهل العلمي، والمنصب الإداري، والخبرة العملية. وأخيرا أوصت الدراسة بضرورة تبني الإدارة العليا ممارسة وتطبيق ذكاء الأعمال في إنجاز جميع الأنشطة والعمليات، وتحديث التقنيات المستخدمة في ذكاء الأعمال في الجامعة ومواكبة التطورات التقنية الحديثة، وتنفيذ ذكاء الأعمال على تطبيقات الحوسبة السحابية، وإقامة دورات تدريبية وورش عمل عن ذكاء الأعمال لجميع القيادات في الجامعة.

This study aimed to identify the role of information systems in enhancing business intelligence at King Abdulaziz University. In order to achieve the research objectives, the researchers used the descriptive approach and data collection. In this study the researchers targeted the academic and administrative leaderships at King Abdulaziz University relying on performing the questionnaire and distributing it electronically, and they responded (92). A phrase whose answer is subject to Likert's five-point scale, and the study reached many results, the most important of which are: The majority of leaders participating in the current study strongly agree that information systems are of essential part of the elements of success of modern organizations with an average arithmetic (4.71) and a standard deviation (0.52). The results also indicated that there are indicators. Several positive aspects show the reality of applying business intelligence at King Abdulaziz University from the point of view of leaders, and most notably: Business intelligence contributes to focusing on the governance of data access and maintaining its health and safety at the university with mean (4.41) and a standard deviation (0.77), and that business intelligence contributes to planning operational, tactical and strategic policies at the university with mean (4.38) and a standard deviation (0.71), and the results also indicated that the majority of leaders participating in the study strongly agree that one of the main challenges facing them is that information systems and business intelligence systems need high material costs and specialized human resources with mean (4.02) and a standard deviation (0.94), the results also indicated that the majority of leaders strongly agree that one of the most important solutions for the application of business intelligence systems at the university is to see the organizations' experiences on the application of business intelligence with mean (4.51) and a standard deviation (0.76), as well as the need to establish a business intelligence center at the university to keep pace with the digital transformation of the Kingdom's vision (2030) with mean (4.47) and a standard deviation (0.79). The results indicated that there are no statistically significant differences between the opinions of the sample members of the leaders participating in the study on the role of information systems in enhancing business intelligence, the reality of business intelligence, and the challenges and proposed solutions for the application of business intelligence at the university due to the difference in age, academic qualification, administrative position, and experience. Finally, the study recommended the need for senior management to adopt the practice and application of business intelligence in the completion of all activities and processes, and update the technologies used in business intelligence at the university and keep abreast of modern technological developments, and implement business intelligence on cloud computing applications, and conduct training courses and workshops on business intelligence for all leaders at the university.
