المستخلص: مما لا شك فيه أن الدين قد سيطر سيطرة كاملة على الإنسان القديم الذي كان منفذا للخيالات ومحاولة لتفسير الظواهر المحيطة بالإنسان، وكانت المعبودات في نظر المصري القديم كالبشر يمكن أن نرضيهم بالقرابين والتقدمات، ولهم من المشاعر ما يحاكي مشاعر البشر من حب وبغض، وأنها تأخذ وتعطي، وتعاقب وتثيب، وكأنهم أرادوا أن يضفوا عليها صفاتهم الإنسانية وعواطفهم، وبوحي من هذه التصورات رمزوا بحيوية الكبش إلى الإخصاب الطبيعي، ورمزوا بقوة الفحل إلى شيء من ذلك، ورمزوا بنفع البقرة ووداعتها بحنو السماء وأمومتها، وبقوة السباع واللبؤات إلى أرباب الحرب، وبفراسة القرد واتزان طائر أبي منجل إلى رب الحكمة، ورمزوا بالحيات والضفادع إلى أرباب الأزل، وبخصائص الصقر إلى رب الضياء وحامي الملكية، وهلم جرا... "شعري هو شعر نو. وجهي هو وجه قرص الشمس. عيناي هما عينا حتحور. أذناي هما أذنا وب واوات. أنفي هو أنف (خنتي شبس). شفتاي هما شفتا أنوبيس. أسناني هي أسنان سرقت. رقبتي هي رقبة الربة المقدسة إيزيس. كفاي هما كفا (با نب جدو). ساعداي هما ساعدا نيت ربة سايس. هيكلي العظمي هو هيكل سوتي. قضيبي هو قضيب بابي. صدري هو صدر (عا شفشفت). بطني وظهري هما بطن وظهر سخمت. ردفاي هما ردفا عين حورس. فخذاي هما فخذا نوت. قدماي هما قدما بتاح. أصابع وعظام ساقي هم أصابع وعظام اليوريات الحية".
