المستخلص: هدف البحث الحالي إلى التعرف علي مدى تباين كل من الالتزام الديني، والتوافق الزواجي بتباين (العمر، المؤهل التعليمي)، كذلك التعرف علي مدى إسهام الالتزام الديني بالتنبؤ بالتوافق الزواجي، تم تطبيق مقياس الالتزام الديني والتوافق الزواجي (إعداد الباحثة) على عينة قوامها ن= 90 من الأزواج تتراوح أعمارهم من (20-50 عاما فأكثر)، من الليبيين المقيمين بمصر/ القاهرة، تم استخدام معامل ألفا كرونباخ ومعامل جوتمان والتجزئة النصفية لقياس ثبات المقياسين (الالتزام الديني-التوافق الزواجي)، كذلك تم استخدام الاتساق الداخلي لقياس ثبات كل مفردة بالمكون الذي تنتمي إليه، وتم إجراء الصدق العاملي للمقياسين (الالتزام الديني-التوافق الزواجي)،كذلك قدرة المقاييس على التمييز للتأكد من صدق المقاييس. أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أنه لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا عند مستوي (0.05≥) بين متوسطات درجات عينة البحث على مقياس الالتزام الديني يرجع لاختلاف المتغيرات الديموجرافية (العمر-المؤهل العلمي)، كما أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أنه لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا عند مستوي (0.05≥) بين متوسطات درجات عينة البحث على مقياس التوافق الزواجي يرجع لاختلاف المتغيرات الديموجرافية (العمر-المؤهل العلمي). كذلك توصلت نتائج هذا البحث إلى أن الالتزام الديني منبئاً للتوافق الزواجي لدى عينة البحث مجموعة من الأزواج الليبيين المقيمين بمصر/ القاهرة".

The purpose of the present research is to identify the extent to which religious commitment and marital compatibility vary according to (age, educational qualification), as well as to identify the extent to which the religious commitment contributes to predicting marital compatibility. The study has applied scale of religious commitment and marital compatibility (designed by the researcher) to a sample of (n = 90) couples whose ages ranged from (20-50 and more) years, from Libyans who are residing in Egypt-Cairo. The study has used Cronbach’s alpha coefficient, Guttmann’s coefficient and the Split-half to measure the reliability of the two scales (religious commitment – marital compatibility); in addition to using the internal consistency to measure the reliability of each item due to the dimension to which it belongs. The factorial validity of the two scales (religious commitment - marital compatibility), as well as the ability of the scales to be distinguished, has been conducted to ensure the validity of the scales. The results of the study indicate that there are no statistically significant differences at (≤ 0.05) level between the average scores of the research sample on the scale of religious commitment according to the difference in the demographic variables of (age – the educational qualification). The results of the study indicate that there are no statistically significant differences at the level ( ≤ 0.05) between the average scores of the research sample on the scale of marital compatibility according to the difference in the demographic variables of (age - educational qualification). The results of this research have found also that the religious commitment is a predictor of marital compatibility among the research sample of Libyan spouses residing in Egypt/Cairo.
