المستخلص: The Compelling Arguments that have been Mentioned against the Innovation of Celebrating Mawlid This research includes a collection and a study of the compelling arguments that have been mentioned against those who celebrate Mawlid. The compelling arguments are divided into two categories 1- General compelling arguments: that have been mentioned against innovations in general 2- Specific compelling arguments against the innovation of Mawlid. This chapter included fifteen compelling arguments The compelling arguments are not on the same level, but rather differ in terms of the effect of the compelling argument on the doctrine, in terms of clarity, in terms of strength and weakness, and in terms of weakening the opposing statement and showing its contradiction. Some of the arguments show that the persons celebrating Mawlid commits disbelief, but it does not mean that they left the fold of Islam, but rather it shows that their doctrine is false. The basic principle is that what is necessary from a statement is not the same as saying that statement itself, unless the person openly states it himself. The variety and abundance of compelling arguments that nullify the innovation of celebrating Mawlid, came to increase the rebuking of the opponent, otherwise it is sufficient that it is an innovation and not from the Sharia. No one from the predecessors celebrated it, and if it had been something good, they would have done it, because they showed us everything that is good.
